Super Mario Bros Wonder bosses are the most powerful enemies fought at the end of each level. The main villain Bowser will be the final boss.
There are quite a number of bosses in the platform game which are divided into various categories such as:
- Mini Bosses - They are found in the middle of a level.
- Recurring Bosses - They are to be dealt with multiple times and are found throughout the game.
- Chapter Bosses - They are fought at the end of a chapter.
- World Bosses - These bosses are fought at the end of the world.
- Final Bosses - Bowser-like bosses are to be fought at the end of the game and are more difficult to beat than other bosses.
It is much easier to defeat the enemies in the game and fighting bosses is a lengthy process. Due to it being difficult, it takes up a lot of the player's time.
For players to reach a new level or chapter, the bosses need to be defeated and that is actually what makes the game more competitive.
With the game releasing on October 20, fans will not have to wait any longer to take on the latest edition and begin their 2D Super Mario experience.
The awaited game will be available after a decade-long wait and has lots of new power-ups and animations along with the latest list of enemies.
Hardest Mario Bosses
The platform game series has had a lot of bosses come and go in several of the editions. One of the hardest bosses among many is Bowser.
Some of the hardest Mario bosses to face in the game are:
- The Shadow Queen
- Phantamanta
- Knucklotec
- Kingfish
- Bowser in the Sky
- Three Little Pigheads
- Bouldergeist
- Ruined Dragon
The Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door had one of the toughest villains in the likes of Shadow Queen. The final fight scene showcases the evil queen having taken possession of Princess Peach.
If players do not pay attention to the proper battle stats such as managing health, badge power, and flower points will have no chance of defeating the opponent.
Paper Mario's partner Vivian has to be considered during the battle or else the fights turn out to be a never-ending process.
A sting ray known as Phantamanta was part of Super Mario Sunshine. The giant sea creature is one of the most challenging bosses in the Mario franchise.
The ray will leave behind a trail of electric residue and will cause severe damage to Mario.
Knucklotec was part of Super Mario Odyssey and looks like a huge ancient sculpture. It has huge fists that will look to utilize every chance it gets to smash Mario.
Cappy can be used to fight this battle as it will become one of Knucklotec's hands and start punishing himself. Although it is hard to beat the creature, it is also sometimes fun.
Kingfish is another hard battle that Mario has to win. The skeletal shark is part of Super Mario Galaxy and the fights take place underwater.
The Kingfish will shoot missile sharks at Mario all the while swimming around him and is not an easy task to dodge all of them. It causes damage to our health and we need to be able to shoot Koopa shells at the giant fish in order to beat it while trying not to get hit by the missiles.
Bowser boss battles have always been the hardest and in Super Mario 64, the final one has Bowser in the Sky. It will have many abilities like creating a shockwave that stuns Mario, breathing fire, and more.
You will have to avoid all the hits to keep our health alongside hurling bowser into one of the spiked orbs by grabbing his tail.
Super Mario Bros Wonder Villain
Super Mario Bros Wonder will see the return of Bowser as the main villain. The main nemesis is also known as King Koopa and leads the Koopa Troop.
Bowser has always been the main antagonist of the Mario franchise for a very long time. He is known for kidnapping Princess Peach with the ulterior motive of defeating Mario and ruling the Mushroom Kingdom.
The main villain of the game was revealed a few months ago and fans are very happy to see Bowser returning as so. He has always been a tough and fun adversary of Mario and the battles too have been very challenging.
The decision to bring back Bowser can also be seen from a commercial point of view. The Super Mario Bros. movie had a huge success after it grossed $1.36 billion at the box office.
Jack Black played the role of the antagonist while Chris Patt portrayed Mario. The movie is still fresh and therefore the decision to have Bowser as the villain seems like a great choice.
Some of the powers and abilities of Bowser that we are aware of are:
- Breathing fire
- Significant strength
- Teleportation
- Dark Magic
- Ability to change sizes
Only a day left before Mario fans can embark on a fun and challenging journey to take on Bowser and other eminent enemies.
List Of Mario Enemies With Pictures

- Konks
- Melon Piranha Plants
- Condarts
- Anglefish
- Blewbirds

- Mumsies
- Shelled Chipmunk
- Maw-Maws

There are still many of the enemies that have not yet been named. The upcoming game will have plenty of other enemies that will try their best to stop Mario from moving forward.
Enemy of Super Mario called Hoppycats may seem to be really cute creatures, but it will be a tough task for Mario to get past them.
They mimic all the movements of Mario and his friends and sync their jumps according to our little hero.
Condarts have very sharp beaks that look like the head of a missile or as the name suggests, darts. They will try to pierce through the playable characters by either diving straight or from the sides.
Enemies in Mario such as the Melon Piranha Plant will have two weapons. They can spit seeds as well as try to bite the characters with their Piranha teeth.
Mario and his compatriots must watch out for both while attempting to get past the variant of piranha plants. The game also has other piranha versions that will be returning as enemies.
Maw-Maws may seem like the sweetest and most harmless enemy in the game but are not to be underestimated. They have the ability to gulp down anything and can even power up by reaching them first and eating them.
The purple cloud called Smogrins that we saw in the trailer of the game looks similar to Thunder Cloud which has previously appeared in several Mario Kart games. It might have the same ability to shoot lightning and has a very grumpy face.
The list of Mario enemies also has the swirling Sugarstars that will not be easy to get past because of their unusual and unpredictable movements.
