Since the gym was established, it has been affiliated with several fighters who have been successful MMA fighters in several major promotions.

Andrei Arlovski

Andrei Arlovski has been part of ATT since 2017. The legendary MMA fighter has competed in 40 professional fights in the UFC.

Out of the 40 fights, "The Pit Bull" has secured 17 wins by knockout, out of which 13 were first-round finishes.

Jorge Masvidal

The 38-year-old "Gamebred" finished his MMA career with an overall 35-17-0 record. Jorge Masvidal was part of ATT from 2007-2023.

Masvidal registered 16 wins by KO. He also holds the record for the fastest KO in UFC history when he knocked out Ben Askren in five seconds.

Dustin Poirier

Dustin "The Diamond" Poirier is an active member of ATT and won his last fight against Michael Chandler in November.

Poirier has a 29-7-0 record and has 15 wins by means of KO. He was a member of the Gladiators Academy till 2012 and joined ATT then.

Junior dos Santos

Brazilian fighter known as the "Cigano" has a 21-9-0 record, with 15 Ko wins. Junior dos Sanos is also a former UFC Heavy Weight Champion. 

Joanna Jędrzejczyk

Jędrzejczyk is the former UFC Women's Strawweight Champion with a 16-5-0 record. She defended her title 5 times and is the most successful Strawweight title defense.

The former fighter had been part of the ATT from 2016-2022. Joanna Jędrzejczyk retired in June 2022 after suffering a loss in her final fight.

Colby "Chaos" Covington is a former member of the ATT (2011-2020). A public feud with ATT members was the reason he parted ways with the team. He has a 17-3-0 MMA record and is a former Interim UFC Welterweight Champion.

Amanda Nunes

The "Lioness" is undoubtedly the greatest UFC Women's champion. Amanda Nunes has a 23-5-0 MMA record and has won 11 title fights.

The Brazilian mixed martial artist was the UFC Women's Featherweight Champion and two-time UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion.

She was a member of the American Top Team MMA from 2014-22. Nunes has won 13 bouts by KO and also has a record 12 fights win streak.

Mike Brown

Brown is a former UFC fighter who competed in the Featherweight division. Mike boasts a 26-9-0 MMA record with 5 wins coming via KO.

The 5 feet 6 inches tall Mike has a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Mike Brown is currently the head coach of fellow MMA fighter Dustin Poirier.

"The Canibal" is the current UFC Flyweight Champion and has a 26-5-0 MMA record. 10 of his wins have come by submission and 8 by KO.

The 58-year-old former heavyweight fighter is the head coach of the professional MMA training camp. "Conan" had a 6-4-0 (1NC) record in his MMA career.

He is the former Extreme Fighting Heavyweight Champion, BJJ National Champion, and also featured in the "Top 100 Coaches in MMA" (2012).

Fair enough to say Marcus Silveira has accomplished a lot in his career as a professional fighter. His last professional fight was in 2007.

Mike Thomas Brown

Mike Brown is employed as an MMA Coach for the ATT camp along with being the head coach for "The Diamond". His last MMA fight was on August 17, 2013, and hung up his gloves in 2014.

Mike has always been part of MMA even after retiring as he became a full-time coach right after his retirement. Although he never won a title, his record as a pro fighter was excellent.

Steve Mocco

Steve Mocco is a wrestling coach at ATT and also works as an assistant wrestling coach at Leigh University. The much sought-after coach has accomplished quite a handful in his career as a wrestler.

He is a two-time NCAA Champion as a collegiate wrestler and four-time finalist. He is also a recipient of the Dan Hodge Trophy and is a 2008 Olympian. He has played a big role in Junior dos Santos' success as he trains the "Cigano".

Dan Lambert American Top Team MMA gym was founded in 2001. Since then, it has become one of the best MMA gyms in the world.

Lambert before opening one of the best MMA gyms was an owner of a successful cruise line. He was very fond of wrestling from a young age and has witnessed the transition of the now-popular sport MMA.

The main aim of the gym owner was to open a world-class facility that would allow all pro fighters to train under one roof and provide them with all the required training.

Lambert was joined by the present head coach Marcus "Conan" Silveira, Marcelo Silveira, and Ricardo Liborio. The training facility took its time to reach the masses and to be a successful facility.

There were other facilities that had been well-established in the world of mixed martial arts and had a lot of competition. It gradually attracted fighters and the size of the gym was the main factor.

The gym with perseverance and patience is now ranked among the top MMA training facilities in the world. The gym has been awarded several awards and has produced over 100 world-class fighters.

American Top Team has its headquarters in Coconut Creek, Florida. There are other ATT locations as well where other academies are based.

The MMA gym and training facility has been a very successful business and has attracted quite a handful of people in its several locations. They have grown in numbers and have many academies in different locations.

The main academy (headquarters) is not open to the public and no MMA classes are offered. Classes are only offered in other locations throughout the country.
