The left-handed power server is a national champion having won the 2022 NCAA Division I Tennis Championship while he played for the Florida Gators.
Shelton turned professional in 2022 and has already been associated with some of the top brands and companies. He has been previously endorsed by powerhouses like Nike and New Balance.
He already made his way into the top 100 in the world by the end of 2022 and is now in the top 20. The promising tennis player is one of the players to look out for in the future and has really high hopes of becoming one of the very best.
In his career, there will be many sponsorship and brand deals that are yet to come his way. There will be a time when the top brands of the world will want to associate with him.
At the moment, he is only associated with a single brand for his apparel and one brand for his tennis equipment.
On
Ben Shelton apparel sponsor is On for both clothing and shoes. The Swiss sportswear company has been endorsing Shelton since March 2023.
Shelton's on-court clothing and shoes were previously sponsored by New Balance and also partnered with Nike before he joined hands with On.
Nike had been sponsoring the rising tennis since 2019 and that deal included both his outfit as well as tennis shoes. After being endorsed by the multinational corporation for almost three years, Shelton parted ways with Nike and hopped on to New Balance.
Soon after he got on board with New Balance, he made a switch to the Swiss company which has Roger Federer as a minority shareholder.
Olivier Bernhard, David Allemann, and Caspar Coppetti were the founders of the sportswear company in 2010. The brand is relatively new in the market and will be competing against giants such as Nike, Uniqlo, Addidas, Lacoste, and more.
These brands have already made a mark in the world of tennis and On will be looking to get a foothold in the market as well. Shelton who will turn 21 next month is a rising star and partnering with him will surely help the upstart brand.
Shelton showcased the brand's latest tennis apparel during the 2023 Miami Open back in March. It was the first time that Shelton was seen flaunting the latest designs from On while he was on court.
In addition to Shelton, the company has also partnered with current World No. 2 Iga Swiatek, and the duo are believed to be the next generation of world-class talent. The compliment comes from the greatest tennis player of all time and the minority investor Roger Federer.
The 2023 US Open semifinalist showcased his competitiveness and class while donning the black and pink outfit against Frances Tiafoe. His white and pink outfit against Novak Djokovic was not to be missed either.
His tennis top has the brand's logo on his left chest and the rest of his outfit apart from the color combination is pretty much simple. The logo is also featured on the right thigh of his tennis shorts and his wristbands also display the brand's emblem.
The brand has not yet launched a tennis apparel collection like other brands and plans to do so next year. The US Open was a preview of sorts for the world to see the brand's design and concept as he showcased it by reaching the top 4 of the Grand Slam.
On Running Tennis Shoes
The athletic shoe company held 40% of the running shoe market in Switzerland in 2019 and the United States is the brand's biggest single market.
Ben Shelton currently wears a pair of THE ROGER Pro tennis shoes that are priced at $199.99 and the shoes in white are very simple yet stylish. It is a blend of fashion and comfort.
The name of the shoe itself is enough to tell you about the backstory of the sneakers. The partnership between On and Federer bloomed in 2019 and subsequently saw the birth of the limited edition lifestyle shoe named "The Roger". It was released in July 2020.
On is planning to change the tennis footwear concept by coming up with unique designs that are both a fashion statement without compromising on the comfort of the player. They believe that the footwear market has been the same for many years and lacks innovation.
A signature shoe for the rising superstar maybe in the works soon.
