Brandt has participated in 28 games over the last two seasons, starting seven for Iowa State. She was a four-year letter winner, a three-year starter, and a twice-elected team captain, reports UNI Panthers.
She guided the Cougars to three consecutive berths in the volleyball tournament for high school girls in Iowa. Brandt was a three-time Class 2A All-State honoree for the Iowa Girls' Coaches Association, receiving First Team recognition each of her last two seasons and Second Team recognition as a sophomore.
