Doc Rivers tied the knot with Kristen Rivers on May 31, 1986. They initially met on a blind date set up by former NBA player Jim Brewer's father.

The 6 feet 4 inches tall athlete later played for the Georgetown Hoyas basketball team. He played a total of 34 games in his freshman year in the 2006/07 season. Jordan was selected to CollegeInsider's All-Defensive Team in his sophomore season
He later transferred to Indiana University as a junior for the 2009/10 season. Jeremiah played in every contest and started 28 out of 31 games.
The elder Rivers was invited to the Portsmouth Invitational and played a total of 32 games as a senior before graduating in 2011. Unfortunately, he could not make it to the NBA post his collegiate days.
Jeremiah is currently working as a music producer, writer, and DJ at Fakework Management in Washington DC according to his Facebook bio.

Doc Rivers daughter Callie Rivers walked down the aisle with Seth Curry on September 14, 2019. They were engaged on Valentine's Day earlier.
Their grand wedding ceremony took place in Malibu, California. NBA star Steph Curry was the best man on a special day for his brother Seth.
Callie graced the occasion with a stunning lace mermaid bridal gown whereas Seth looked dashing in a blush suit. More than three years later, the flamboyant couple is living a gracious family life with two offspring Carter Lynn Curry and Cash Curry.

She later played college volleyball for Florida Gators from 2007 to 2010 and achieved AVCA Honorable Mention All-America selection in her senior year. Post her collegiate days, Callie played professional volleyball for Leonas de Ponce in the Puerto Rican volleyball league.

Doc Rivers son Austin Rivers was born on 1st August 1992 in Santa Monica, California. He attended Winter Park High School and led them to consecutive Florida 6A state championships in 2010 and 2011.
The 6 feet 3 inches tall point guard was rated as a five-star recruit by Scout, Rivals and 247Sports. Furthermore, he was also named the 2011 Naismith Prep Player of the Year.
Austin was selected by the New Orleans Hornets as the 10th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. He opted to wear the 25-number jersey as a respect to his dad who also wore the same during his tenure in the NBA.
He made his debut for the Orleans against the San Antonio Spurs led by head coach Gregg Popovich. Three years later, Rivers joined LA Clippers in a three-team trade involving Celtics and Phoenix Suns.
Austin became the first player in NBA history to play for his father, coach Doc Rivers, who has the head coach of the Clippers back then.

Spencer Played For UC Irvine
The youngest member of the Rivers clan also followed in the footsteps of his older folks. The 27-year-old Spencer previously played on two state championship teams at Winter Park High School.
Post high school, Junior Rivers signed a letter of intent to play college basketball at the University of California, Irvine. He played in ten games for the Anteaters as a redshirt freshman.
The 6 feet 2 inches tall guard appeared in a total of 76 games for UCI across three seasons. He sadly went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft.
However, bigger things were waiting as Spencer was hired as the skill development coach by the Philadelphia 76ers on Nov 9, 2020. he is currently serving in the same role and closely working alongside his dad.

Doc Rivers parents are Grady Rivers and Betty Rivers. He grew up with his brother Grady Rivers Jr. in Chicago, Illinois.
The 2008 NBA Champion coach attended the Proviso East High School in the Chicago metropolitan area. Rivers later went to Marquette University, where he got the nickname Doc.
The motivation was always there for him from an early age to follow an athletic career from his extended family members.
His uncle Jim Brewer and cousin Byron Irvin both played in the NBA. Furthermore, his other cousin Kin Singleton represented NY Mets, Montreal Expos and Baltimore Orioles in MLB.
Grady Rivers Was Police Lieutenant
Doc idolized his father ever since his childhood and remains thankful to him for teaching basketball. Grady was a police officer by profession.
Senior Rivers rose to lieutenant while serving thirty years on the force in Maywood. The family's athletic genes started right from Grady who coached the football team, little league baseball team and basketball team in his hometown.
He enacted more than just a cop and rather served as a community leader who fostered the town's athletic potential. Grady passed away at the age of 76 back in November 2007 but has left a greater impact on his son's career and community as a whole.
