Merrill Reese has been the Eagles radio announcer since 1977. He was previously a backup announcer for Charlie Swift who was the lead announcer from 1969-1977.

Merrill Reese
Reese is an American sports radio announcer who was born in Philadelphia on September 2, 1942. The veteran announcer has been the lead voice behind the coverage of the Eagles' radio broadcast for more than four decades.
Merrill Reese is still the Eagles play by play announcer for the 2023-2024 NFL season after he made his debut as the lead announcer on 11 December 1977.
The Temple University graduate first started his radio broadcasting career while he was in college and gave his voice as an announcer to the institution's radio station, WRTI FM.
As he has been calling games for the Philadelphia Eagles for over 40 years, he was inducted into the Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Fame in 2016. In addition to calling games, he also hosts a program.
The program is called The WIP Coach's Show with the franchise's head coach, players, and other guests. The show is done the next day after the Eagles games.

Mike Quick
Born on May 14, 1959, in Hamlet, North Carolina, Quick was a Round 1 pick in the 1982 NFL Draft. He was drafted as the #20 overall pick by the Philadelphia Eagles and played for the team for nine seasons.
Eagles commentator Mike Quick is a 5 x Pro Bowler who was selected from 1983-1985 and was the NFL receiving yards leader in 1983 with 1,409 yards.
