Fighting with My Family Real Paige is Saraya Jade Bevis. Saraya is a two-time WWE Divas Champion and the inaugural NXT Women Champion.
Saraya Bevis was born on 17 August 1992 in Norwich, England. The 5 feet 8 inches tall diva hails from a professional wrestling family.
Although it may sound obvious that she followed in the footsteps of her family members, becoming a wrestler was not her first aim. Bevis was initially scared of wrestling in her childhood days and wanted to become a zoologist instead.
However, she couldn't stay far from it for a long time as she occasionally started getting in the ring from the age of 10. Three years later, Saraya made her professional debut in 2005 using the ring name Britani Knight.
After showcasing her skills in numerous European nations, Jade Bevis succeeded in her second try-out for WWE in April 2011. She made her debut for FCW in 2012 with the ring name Saraya which was later changed to Paige.
Her continuous training and hard work paid off as she relished a pretty successful career before a neck injury forced her into retirement in 2017. Paige was then appointed the new general manager of SmackDown by Vince McMahon.
Fighting with My Family Based On True Story
Fighting with My Family is based on the true story of WWE superstar Paige. The 2019 biographical movie is inspired by the real-life events of the Paige family from England.
The sports drama film was written and directed by Stephen Merchant. The famous wrestler Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock co-produced the movie along with starring in it.
The picture was theatrically released in the US on 14 February 2019 and received positive feedback from critics. Not only is the movie based on true events but the resemblance of the reel characters with the real ones has made this globally hit.
While appearing on the Lilian Garcia podcast, Saraya Jade Bevis called the film incredible and verified the abundance of events shown in the picture as being absolutely true.
She said, "I cried my eyes after watching it for the first time. It is not just a wrestling story, it's very versatile, it's very open, it's incredible and I couldn't have asked for a better cast."
Fighting with My Family Storyline
The plot of the movie starts with wrestlers Rick and Julia inspiring their offspring (Zack and Saraya) to follow in their footsteps. As the siblings apply to join the WWE, they are evaluated by a veteran trainer Hutch Morgan.
Zak was more passionate about wrestling from an early age and seemed more confident about making it to the WWE. However, fate had other ideas as only Paige was selected and Zak was told to return home.
The story then follows the events of Bevis having difficulty in training to overcome it and ultimately relishing her dream of winning the WWE Championship. The movie in the hindsight follows Zak struggling with his failure to achieve the goal.

The trio of Ricky Knight, Sweet Saraya, and Jimmy Ocean formed the World Association of Wrestling (WAW) in 1994. As Ocean parted away from the business one year later, the Bevis couple took it upon themselves to make it grow further and popularise it all over the globe.
