Jarome Iginla parents are Susan Schuchard and Elvis Iginla. Jarome grew up with his single mother in St Albert after their separation.
Iggy is a former Canadian ice hockey winger best known for playing 21 seasons in the NHL. The 2020 Hockey Hall of Famer spent 17 seasons with the Calgary Flames.

Jarome dad Elvis Iginla came to Canada in 1976 age 19 for university studies. His real name was Adekunle, but he changed to Elvis to fit into Canadian society.
Iginla senior initially studied philosophy but later shifted to Psychology and graduated with an honors degree in 1983. He then studied theology at Edmonton’s Newman Theological College and North American Baptist College for a brief time.
His time there helped him to publish "Confound Not the Wise: Questions and answers for Christianity" in 2005. His other work is the 2015 book "Abide In Me: 366 Daily Devotional Readings."
The Christian writer obtained his LL.B. from the University of Alberta in 1991. He has actively practiced law and won all injury liability trials at the Court of Queens Bench and the Provincial Civil Trial Courts.
Elvis also has experience fighting for his clients at the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. He founded his law firm, Iginla & Company, situated in Edmonton in 1999.

Susan Was There For Jarome's NHL Debut
Jarome Iginla mom Susan Schuchard lived in her dad's house in St. Albert. She is originally from Oregon and has work experience as a massage therapist and music teacher.
She closely followed her son's minor hockey career to his NHL debut. Susan watched his first game with the Flames on TV since he was put out of the game many times before.
In her 2018 interview with NHL, she confirmed that her favorite moment as an NHL mom was Iggy's first goal. Susan continues attending games and events with her retired son.
Jarome donated $1,000 to Kidsport, a children's charity Kidsport for every goal he scored during his time with the Flames. He has been operating the Jarome Iginla Hockey School in Calgary since 2002.
The non-profit organization donates to the Diabetes Research Association. The former NHL has been awarded for his humanitarian work and community service.

Jarome Iginla wife Kara Kirkland first met him when they were in seventh grade. Jarome married her on August 3, 2003.

Tij Iginla is the eldest son of Iggy and Kara. He was born on August 4, 2006 in Lake Country.
He has an overpowering height of six feet at 16 years. He played at the RINK Hockey Academy on the boy's team.
Before joining the RINK team, he was a part of the Boston Jr. Eagles 13U AAA and Boston Jr. Eagles 14U AAA in the U.S.A..
Son Tij was drafted on WHL's Seattle Thunderbirds roster at the 2021 WHL Bantam Draft. He debuted in the 2021–22 season and will pursue a professional ice hockey career.

Joe Iginla Is The Youngest Child
Joe Iginla was born on August 13, 2008, making him 14 years. He was Tij's teammate during the latter's time at RINK Hockey Academy.
While Tij left for WHL, the youngest Iginla continued playing for the RINK U-15 preparation team. He also aims to be a professional ice hockey player like his father.
The 5 feet 8 inches tall hockey prodigy plays as a forward for his upcoming CSSHL U16 team. Joe and his RINK U-15 team won the 2022 Canadian Sport School Hockey League U15 (CSSHL U15) in December 2022.

Theresa started practicing law in 2019 and joined the family business with one of her brothers to learn from her veteran dad. She excels in injury liability cases under the teachings of her dad.
