Major League Pickleball salary in the United States is around $50,201 annually. The prize money for tournaments varies and sponsorships are excluded.

The income of the players may vary from one another as not everyone is paid the same amount. They also have different sponsors that they are associated with and all depend on their personal deals with the endorsers.

If the sponsorships are included in their annual earnings, their total earnings per year could be anywhere upwards of $200,000. The total prize money for 2023 is $5 million and players will be receiving certain payouts.

The MLP has expanded to 24 teams starting this season with 12 teams in the Challenger Level. The matches are played in different cities and are also garnering a good number of viewership on its broadcast.

The sport has been rising at a rapid pace with over 35 million people who played the sport in the previous year. The league's '40 By 30 Project' is to gain 40 million players by 2023.

The MLP is not broadcast on live TV but can still be viewed by fans through their official website and their social apps. The highlights are also regularly added to their page.

Major League Pickleball teams are currently valued as high as $10 million in 2023. The league and franchises have seen tremendous growth.

The MLP is one of the fastest-growing sports in the United States and is being played in all over the country. It is a fun and competitive sport that can be enjoyed by everyone.

The sport is played by millions in the country and along with the number of players, the sport is also generating a lot of revenue and the valuations of the teams are rising by the year.

Since the league was started in 2021, the teams were valued as low as $100,000. It is actually a huge sum personally but from a franchise point of view, it doesn't seem much since we have been aware of the valuations of the NFL, NBA, MLB, and MLS teams.

In just two years, the team valuations have sky-rocketed by 100 times, and without a doubt keep on going higher and higher. However, not every team is valued at $10 million as the valuations differ from one another based on certain aspects.

Dak Prescott and Dude Perfect are the most recent MLP team owners since they inked a deal in March 2023. The quarterback and internet sensation teamed up to invest $5 million in the Frisco Pandas and become owners.

Although they have a deal that was valued at $5 million, it is not yet clear as to how much they have bought. It could either be the entire team or just a percentage of the team.

They have now joined a list of many high-profile investors ranging from NFL stars to NBA stars, and entrepreneurs. The Frisco Pandas are part of the Premiere Teams in the MLP.

How To Invest In Major League Pickleball?

You can invest in Major League Pickleball in 2023 by chipping in $3 million in expansion fees. The team valuation for investment differs.

A handful of stars from different backgrounds are now team owners after the MLP expanded the league to 24 teams. There is no fixed price for investing in a team and will vary from one another depending on several factors.

The team's popularity, revenue, performance, and many more factors determine the valuation of a team. If you have tons of money that you could just splash around everywhere, you could care less about these variables.

Similar to a business deal, investing in a team is not as easy as it sounds. First and foremost, the current team owner should be either willing to sell the team or sell some of the ownership. The next easy step would be to make them an offer they can't refuse.

Since the league is very new and although they are popular, they still need people on board who are influential and can be the perfect face for the team. Many of the teams could hand out minority shares or major in some cases to someone who could be very famous or influential.

LeBron James, Draymond Green, and Kevin Love are owners of a team in the MLP. These are household names and almost everybody is familiar with their names. Apart from having money to invest, they also act as a face for the team or someone who could attract more people.

The league and teams need such involvement that would garner world wide attention and help grow the sport. These are the real-life influencers or promoters who are promoting sports overall.
