TBS is the short form of Turner Broadcasting System.
Warner Bros. Discovery U.S. Networks division of Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) owns TBS and its sister channel TNT. Turner Sports have been one of the main contributors to sports broadcasting in the U.S.
Coming into 2023, MLB's Opening Day received 172 million views, making it one of the most-watched sports. Hence, to contribute to MLB's media, TBS and TNT hire abled and experienced broadcasters.
TBS Baseball Announcers List
TBS baseball announcers include Brian Anderson, Bob Costas and Don Orsillo. Anderson has been the main play by play caller for MLB season.
He has been active in the field since 1998, starting his career with Minor League and Little League Baseball telecasts for ESPN.
Brian has been filling in TBS's postseason coverage since 2008 and is the signature voice of the League Championship Series as of 2017.
Besides baseball, he also does play-by-play for NBA on TNT, sharing the workspace with his TNT colleagues.
Bob Costas
Costas first joined MLB on TBS as a studio host for the network’s 2021 League Championship Series coverage. Meanwhile, he has been with MLB Network since 2009.
He is best known for his long tenure with NBC Sports, from 1980 through 2019. He received 28 Emmy awards during his time there. Meanwhile, he has also been the prime-time host of 12 Olympic Games from 1988 until 2016.
Don Orsillo
Orsillo has been the play-by-play announcer for the MLB on TBS since 2018. However, he only appears in selected regular season games.
Besides his work on TBS, he is also the main announcer for the San Diego Padres on Bally Sports San Diego. Orsillo was the television voice of the Boston Red Sox on NESN from 2001 to 2015. He then did the same for the Padres in the 2016 season.

Ron Darling
Darling first joined TBS Network as a color analyst in 2007 for that year's MLB Playoffs. He also appeared as a guest studio analyst for the 2007 postseason.
The following year, he joined the network as a regular contributor for regular and postseason coverage.
Ron is also a game analyst for the New York Mets and a studio analyst for MLB Network. Interestingly, he is a former MLB player whose career spanned 13 seasons where he won a World Series in 1986 and a Gold Glove Award in 1989 with the Mets.
Jeff Francoeur
Jeff, also known as "Frenchy," was a right fielder in MLB from 2005 to 2016. He became a broadcaster after his retirement and started off as a color analyst for selected Atlanta Braves baseball games on Fox Sports South and Fox Sports Southeast.
He first joined Turner Sports in 2019 as an MLB postseason game analyst. He then became a regular season contributor in 2021 and has continued his work.

A sports analyst looks through video motion analysis to see athletes' technical and tactical performances. An analyst works closely with the sports science team for the purpose.
Jimmy Rollins
Rollins is a former MBL player turned game analyst. He won four Gold Glove Awards during his playing career from 2000 to 2016.
J-Rolls joined the MLB on the TBS Postseason studio team right after his retirement. Meanwhile, he has been a game analyst for select Philadelphia Phillies telecasts on NBC Sports Philadelphia since 2019.
Pedro Martínez
Martinez has been a studio analyst for MLB on TBS for both regular and Postseason since 2013. A Canadian Baseball Hall of Famer, his work presentation is noted to be top-notch due to his experience in the field.
He has also been serving as an analyst for MLB Network since 2015.
Curtis Granderson
Grandyman first appeared as a guest analyst for the 2019 MLB postseason and joined the network full-time the following year. Also a former MLB player, he was a three-time All-Star.
Besides TBS, he also works in the creative department of Bleacher Report.

TBS Tuesday Night Baseball televises live game telecasts of MLB games on Tuesday evenings during the regular season. As of the 2022 season, TBS has acquired the broadcasting rights to MLB games.
Before that, FS1, ESPN, and MLB Network used to air Tuesday night games. The TBS Tuesday Night Baseball crew team includes notable names for making the show a big success.
Lauren Shehadi
Shehadi is one of the new names in recent years to join the MLB on the TBS studio team. She first served as a reporter on TBS’s Postseason coverage in 2017.
Lauren then joined as a studio host for the MLB on TBS pregame and postgame coverage in 2022. meanwhile, she has been a part of the MLB Network shows since 2012.
Besides baseball, she also reports on NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship for Turner Sports and CBS Sports.
Matt Winer
Winer has been with Turner Sports since 2010 in various positions across its networks. He is primarily known for being the studio host for MLB on TBS.
Meanwhile, he currently reports from the field as of 2022. He is also a studio host on NBA TV and College Basketball on CBS.
He is also a regular contributor to TNT's NASCAR, the NBA, and the PGA Tour coverage.
TNT Baseball Sideline Reporters
TNT Baseball includes fellow sideline reporters to ace the game night presentation on TV:

Matt Winer covered the 2022 ALDS and is one of the most sideline reporters during the regular season games. Likewise, Allie LaForce also occasionally appears in regular season games.
Heidi Watney joined the MLB on TBS in 2022 but was a part of the MLB Network for nine years from November 2012. She also joined Apple TV+ last year, being busy juggling between the two networks.
On the other hand, she formerly hosted "Quick Pitch" and was a Time Warner Cable SportsNet reporter.
Kelly Crull joined Turner Sports in 2022 and appeared as an occasional sideline reporter of regular season games. She has also worked for Fox Sports and NBC Sports Chicago.
Hazel Mae was a sideline reporter for TBS MLB Tuesday starting in the 2022 season. She currently works as a field-level reporter for Toronto Blue Jays on Sportsnet.
2005 Miss Teen USA Allie LaForce joined the TBS MLB team in 2022. She is best known for her role as a sideline reporter for the NBA on TNT and the NCAA Tournament.
