2021 NASCAR Cup Series - Kyle Larson
Kyle Larson won the 2021 Ally 400 at Nashville Superspeedway. Larson took the lead for 264 of the 300 laps on the 1.33-mile course.
At the Nashville finish line, Larson's No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet beat Ross Chastain and Chip Ganassi Racing's No. 42 Chevrolet by 4.335 seconds.
He led the race by five seconds in the final laps of the first competition. William Byron, a teammate of Larson's at Hendrick Motorsports, started from the back of the grid and tried to give the team its fifth consecutive 1-2 finish.
Kyle remained in second place until the final 10 laps when Chastain passed him. Following polesitter Aric Almirola and his teammate Kevin Harvick from Stewart-Haas Racing, Byron came in third.
Larson is the only driver to have ten wins and the cup championships since Hendrick legend Jimmie Johnson achieved accomplishment in 2007.
Another Hendrick legend Jeff Gordon led 2,610 laps during his first championship season in 1995 but Kyle's 2,581 laps led were the most by driver since.
After winning the opening round of the Round of 8 in Texas, Kyle became the first of the four drivers to set up a place in the Championship 4. Chase Elliott, Martin Truex Jr., and Denny Hamlin secured the final three positions based on points.
2022 Nascar Cup Series - Chase Elliott
Chase Elliott won the 2022 NASCAR Cup Series Ally 400 on June 26. Elliott passed Kyle Busch and took the lead on lap 264 of 300.
He won his second race of the season driving the number 9 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Hendrick Motorsports. The race was scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. but was delayed twice, the second by more than two hours due to lightning and rain.
Elliott beat Busch to the checkered flag in a race crossing the line 0.551 seconds. His victory was 15th in the NASCAR Cup Series after winning in 2022.
Meanwhile, Kurt came in second, and Ryan Blaney was third. Ross Chastain completed the top five, followed by Kyle Larson, who finished fourth and was the 2021 winner of the Nascar Cup Series.

The location for racing events is Galdeville, Tennesse about 20 miles southeast of Nashville. The Nashville Superspeedway length is 1.33 miles, with the track built in 2021 being in a D-shaped oval.
It has a capacity of roughly 38000 people and is the longest concrete track in NASCAR. The seating capacity can be increased to 150,000 by putting in portable seats at particular events.
When the track was built, the groundwork was established for future expansion to add a short track, drag strip, and road course.
Nashville Superspeedway is owned by Speedway Motorsports, LLC, and is the largest concrete-only track in NASCAR. Instead of traditional trophies, it has a custom of awarding custom-made Gibson Les Paul guitars to the race winners.
During the first operation, two NASCAR Xfinity Series races and two NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series events were held.
In 2011, the motorsports announced the track would not pursue Nascar sanctions in 2012 so it is closing down due to its poor involvement in big events and no chance of winning a cup series events.
