Olivier Nkamhoua parents are Christian Nkamhoua and Raisa Still. Oliver is a basketball player for the Tennessee Volunteers born in Helsinki in 2000.

However, in 2017, Nkamhoua and his dad migrated to the United States to explore better prospects to elevate his professional career.

Pronounced 'OH-liv-ee-AY KAHM-wuh,' Nkamhoua is a tough cookie, just like his name, making strides in March Madness 2023.

Similarly, Oliver got his athletic mettle from his father, Christian, a former basketball player who for the team Visa Basket in Finland. 

Nkamhoua played for the U20 Finnish basketball team and was well-known among Finnish fans. He attended Bishop Walsh Catholic School in Cumberland, Maryland, where he sowed the seeds of his professional path. 

Then in May 2019, the 6-feet-9 rising basketball prodigy joined the University of Tennessee. Subsequently, Olivier joined the college basketball team Tennessee Volunteers and has been playing in the NCAA divisions.

Oliver was crucial during their 65-52 beatdown of Jon Scheyer's Blue Duke Devils before sneaking into the Sweet 16 in the March Madness 2023.

Olivier Nkamhoua Childhood

Olivier spent his childhood days in the southern Finnish capital Helsinki. His mother is a native of the country, whereas his father is originally from Cameroon. 

The 22-year-old forward at the Tennessee Volunteers has a diverse cultural background.

His dad, Christian, is from Cameroon and played basketball in Finland before moving to the UK, where he worked for the government for over a decade.

In 2017, Christian brought Olivier to the United States to pursue his basketball career. Olivier is a talented player making a name for himself in the US, and his diverse background reflects the growing trend of cultural diversity in sports.

When the University of Tennessee announced that it had given a basketball scholarship to a Finnish player for the first time, many were surprised to learn that the player was Nkamhoua. 

Although he has fallen off the radar of Finnish basketball fans, he has resurfaced as a prominent athlete in the United States, earning a reputation for his outstanding talent.

Despite being the son of a professional basketball player, Nkamhoua's first sport was football. He only started playing basketball at eight at the Helsinki YMCA.

Christian "Chuma" Nkamhoua

Olivier Nkamhoua dad Christian is an acting deputy chief in the State of Maryland and a former college basketball player. He was born Chuma Amun Nkamhoua on August 27, 1979, in Baham, Cameroon.

On Twitter, his profile name goes "Chuma Nkamhoua," whereas, on Facebook and Instagram, he has an entirely different moniker, "Vieux Lion Papayou."

Chuma and Olivier are very close to each other, often showcasing their strong connection through their social media posts. Christian's social media feeds are overflowing with posts centered on his son's basketball games.

The NCAA star wished his old man a heartfelt birthday in August 2019 with several pictures of the two on his Instagram.

According to Linkedin, Chuma is a Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences graduate. He earned his bachelor's degree in Business Informatics. He then pursued a degree in Industrial Engineering at Arcada.

Chuma enrolled in a Post Graduate Certificate program in Strategic Management of Projects at University College London to complement his academic credentials. He gained expertise in managing complex projects and developing effective strategies to achieve project goals.

Christian serves as an acting deputy chief and grand compliance at the State of Maryland. The Baham, Cameroon native previously worked as a 
Command Center Manager at MVM, Inc. 

Raisa Still

Olivier Nkamhoua mom Raisa Still is a business executive from Helsinki, Finland. She is a mix of Scottish and Finnish descent.

Though Raisa and Christian had Olivier, the two were never married. She tied the knot with a rugby player Tyrwone Still, on January 10, 2013. The pair celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in early 2023. 

Raisa posted some memories from their opulent wedding on her Instagram. She has a daughter named Saffron Still with her husband, Tyrwone. She turned 7 on December 17, 2022. 

On the other hand, Raisa has maintained a close relationship with her son Olivier.

In February 2022, she caught him off guard by attending one of his games, having made a surprise trip from Helsinki. She met him before the game, and the two shared an emotional moment with a huge hug. 

Moreover, in March 2023, Raisa and Christian were together in the stands, wearing Tennessee Volunteers jerseys to cheer for their young man at Thompson-Boling Arena.

Olivier Nkamhoua Siblings

Nkamhoua has three siblings, two half-sisters and one half-brother. His older brother Tuikku Tuikkulainen is the firstborn of Raisa. 

Olivier spent his entire childhood with Tuikku in their home in Finland before he moved to England.

On Instagram, he has posted several pictures from the old days where the two siblings can be seen playing and having fun together. Tuikku has an Instagram account @l.x.rd with 517 followers and just two pictures on the upload.

Nkamhoua's second sibling is Saffron, born in December 2015 to Raisa and Tyrwone Still. He often takes time out of his busy schedule to visit their home and enjoy moments with his younger sister.

Raisa dropped a picture of Olivier, Tuikku, and Saffron in April 2019 with a caption that reads, "Nothing in the world matters to me like these."

Moreover, in December 2019, Oli bought a cute teddy bear for Saffron's fourth birthday. 

Similarly, the Volunteers power forward has another sister named Zuri from his dad's marriage with Belle Alvine. Belle is an entrepreneur and co-founder of Feza brand, an apparel store for Modern African Culture fashion.

Christian and Belle welcomed a baby girl Zuri on November 11, 2019. Olivier posted a picture with Zuri in May 2022 as he visited his old man in Annapolis, Maryland.

In January 2020, he dropped two images, one with Saffron and one with Zuri penning the post as a "role model," underscoring his admirable behavior as a guiding figure for his two little sisters.
