Chase Elliott was the winner in 2022 after Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch were disqualified.
Hamlin won the race in 2022 but was later disqualified along with 2nd place finisher Kyle Busch after a post-race inspection in which it was found that the two were guilty of illegal modifications.

The scheduled race is the 21st race of the NASCAR Cup Series 2023 season. The race is set to begin at 2:30 pm (ET). The first race was held in 1974.

NASCAR Pocono Raceway 2023 will only have one race from the Cup Series the other race, the Pocono Organics CBD 325 was ditched from the Cup Series.

Explore the Pocono Mountains 225 - July 22
It will be the 19th race of the NASCAR Xfinity Series and race day will be just a day before the Cup Series race. The race usually took place in June but in 2022, it was moved to July.

The race is comparatively shorter as it has 90 laps with Stages 1 and 2 having 20 laps each and the Final stage having 50 laps. The total distance of the race will be 225 miles; 175 miles lesser than the Cup Series race.

The track has a variety of track configurations and is the site for many races apart from NASCAR. The course has about 22 possible road course configurations with a range of 0.5 miles to up to 3.65 miles.
The track is unique in its own way as each of the three turns is designed after separate turns from separate tracks.
It means that Turn One is designed after Trenton Speedway, Turn Two after Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and Turn Three after Milwaukee Mile.
The race site has a good number of seats and almost all seats will guarantee you a good view of the race. If that was not the case, then the race would never have been so successful.
