Ice hockey player Roberto Luongo is married to his wife, Gina Luongo. The Couple share two kids in the family, a son Gianni and a daughter Gabriella.
He was recently inducted into the Hockey Hall Of Fame for contributing to the game.
Roberto Luongo Met His Wife At A Pizzeria
Roberto met his wife Gina (née Cerbone) while hanging out with his team at a pizzeria, the Pizza Time Trattoria, in Coral Springs. Gina was working there as her father owned it. Robert was playing for Florida Panthers at the time.
Gina's father, Umberto Cerbone, is originally from Naples and her mother is from Palermo. Gina is of Italian ancestry.
Roberto and his wife, Gina, started dating while still with Florida Panthers. He was with the Panthers from 2000 to 2006. The couple got engaged in 2004 when Robert proposed to Gina on a gondola under the Bridge of Sighs in Venice, Italy.
The couple lived together in Broward County. They moved into a new home in Florida, and after a month of moving, Robert was traded to Vancouver. The couple eventually moved into the neighborhood of Yaletown. They shared vows in 2004 and have two kids together.
Roberto has stated that he intends to spend the rest of his life in Parkland, Florida. He also has extended family and relatives scattered across Japan.
Roberto Luongo Has Two Kids
Daughter Gabrielle is the eldest of Roberto's kids. She was born on March 27, 2008, while Roberto was spending Luongo's off-seasons in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Roberto's son, Gianni, was born on December 27, 2010. His son is also a high school athlete.
Gabrielle is 14 years old and has her own private Instagram @gabriellaluongo. She is set to graduate in 2026 and is also associated with a dance studio, @creativeheartdancestudio.The studio prioritizes kids and coaches them to dance correctly. Gabrielle also learned dancing from the studio.

Roberto's Family Was At The Hall Of Fame Ceremony
Roberto was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. He was presented with his Honoured Member plaque by Dominik Hasek at Meridian Hall.
He was present with his whole family. He also gave a heartfelt speech highlighting the family he was born into. He credited his recently passed grandfather for instilling a hard work ethic in him. He also praised Fabio and Leo, his brother, for pushing him to improve.
Roberto prioritizes his family over everything. He stated that he loves spending time with them. They do everything together, even menial activities, such as playing cards and eating pizza.
