He has won several tennis tournaments including the '98 Australian Open and the Hopman Cup in 1994. Petr rose to 2nd rank in the WTA, his best-ever position in February 1998.
Korda met and tied the knot with his wife Regina, a retired Czech tennis player. She represented her nation in the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul.
