The 2022 Snooker World Championship has made draws and will bring snooker fans together in Sheffield's Crucible. The competition will feature 32 player draw, who will seek to outperform each other to gain the prestigious championship and the £500,000 reward.

16 players automatically got qualified due to ranking Top 16 in the world. The other 16 get to join by playing the qualification matches. The qualification rounds happened from the 4th to the 13th of April, with 128 amateur and professional players.

The Snooker Championship 2022 is scheduled to start from 16 April 2022 to May 2 and is divided into five rounds. 

The 1st round will start on 16th April and feature players competing in the best of 19 Frames, each having two sessions. 

The defending Champions, Mark Shelby, Barry Hawkings, Zhao Xintong, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Shaun Murphy, and David Gilbert, are scheduled to play on 16th April. 

On 17th April, Anthony McGill, Zao Xintong, Mark Williams, Shaun Murphy, and Barry Hawkins are set to compete. 

1st Round Schedule from 18th April  

On 18th April, the schedule is filled with Anthony McGill, Mark Allen, John Higgins, Jackson Page, Stuart Bingham, and Neil Robertson.

On 19th April, Yan Bingtao, Higgins, Jack Lisowski, Stuart Bingham, and Neil Robertson are scheduled to play.

On 20th April, Kyren Wilson, Higgins, Luca Brecel, and Jack Lisowski have schedules. 

On 21st April, there is just one match between Luca Breel and Judd Trump. After this, the 1st round concludes, and the winners from 1st round proceed to 2nd round.

The 2nd Round of the Snooker Championship will be held from 21st April to 25th April and will be the best of 25 frames.

Each match in the 2nd round will be of three sessions each.

The World Championship ended on May 2, with Ronnie O'Sullivan winning against Judd Trump by 18-13.

The quarter-finals saw Yan Bingtao vs. Mark Williams and Stuart Bingham vs. Judd Trump. Then, the snooker community witnessed Jack Lisowski vs. John Higgins and Steven Maguire vs. Ronnie O'Sullivan.

The semi-finals ended with Mark Williams vs. Judd Trump and John Higgins vs. Ronnie O'Sullivan. Ronnie won against John by 17-11, and Trump won against Williams by 17-16.
