What Is The TGL Golf League?

The league places a high priority on the fan experience, which includes allowing fans to sit on the green side of the field during games. The games will be played in Florida's Palm Beach Gardens at a specially constructed location on Monday nights.
When questioned why Monday night, Rory responded that it better suited the players' schedule since Tuesdays and Wednesdays are typically reserved for practice days before tournaments.
Through a collaboration with Palm Beach State College, TMRW Sports is constructing the first venue in Palm Beach, Florida. The group began construction at the location on February 20, 2023.
TMRW Sports has announced that they will provide the college with $1 million to support a variety of extracurricular and academic programs.
The events will be scheduled in accordance with the regular PGA Tour schedule. The games will be played on a data-rich, virtual course with a tech-infused, short-game complex. Throughout the tech-based matches, the golfers competing in the league will wear microphones.
The league has already attracted a number of famous investors, including tennis star Serena Williams, who invested in the Los Angeles Golf Club, the league's debut team.
There will be a live audience and each show will last for two hours. Additionally, players will be shooting on a screen that is the same size as a movie theater.
TGL will also draw 1800–2000 spectators, and viewers will be able to follow the matches through active social media and television coverage.

Tiger Woods New Golf League Teams So Far
The Los Angeles Golf Club is the first team to be announced in Tiger Woods PGA League. Venus and Serena Williams, Serena's husband Alexis Ohanian, and Serena's 5-year-old daughter Olympia Ohanian are the team's owners.

Tiger Woods and Rory Mcilroy PGA League Prize Money
With the announcement of the new tech-based golf league by Woods and Mcilroy, more than 30 teams have expressed interest in funding.
Six franchises, with a 3% equity stake in the league are up for sale. With TMRW keeping 44% and the PGA Tour owning 18%, each of the six franchise owners would hold a total of 18% of the league's stock.
After that, the final 10% would be kept in a "Player Pool." Each potential ownership combination must include a control person who would hold 51% of the voting shares and a third of the team.
TGL's league-wide earnings-sharing model, which is believed to replicate the National Football League's (NFL) structure, is expected to distribute US$2.4 million to each team in its first season and US$7.6 million per team in 10 years.
In addition, franchisees will be able to make money through traditional ways including sponsorship, ticket sales, and merchandise, with team-specific revenue predicted to increase from US$4.4 million in 2024 to US$13.3 million in 2033.
