As a senior, Moore guided MLK to its second consecutive state championship while passing for 2,392 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions.
Sports Illustrated named Moore the top recruit in his class. Prior to his senior year, he made a commitment to play collegiate football for Oregon. Moore is the highest-ranked QB to ever commit to play for the Bruins. On December 21, 2022, he signed his national letter of intent with UCLA.
Collin Schlee - 2022
Collin Schlee is an American football quarterback from Ijamsville, Maryland, who plays for the UCLA Bruins. He played for Kent State in the past.
Schlee went to Oakdale High School, where he played basketball and football. As a senior, he passed for 1,503 yards and 23 touchdowns. Kent State received Schlee's commitment to play college football.
With the Kent State Golden Flashes, Schlee redshirted his true freshman season. He served as the backup during his redshirt freshman season.
As a redshirt underclassman, he continued to serve as backup and appeared in 11 games, completing seventeen of twenty-four pass attempts for 238 yards and one touchdown while also running for 127 yards and three scores.
As a redshirt junior, he was appointed the starting quarterback for the Golden Flashes. Schlee ran for 489 yards and 4 touchdowns in addition to completing 157 of 266 passes for 2,109 yards, thirteen touchdowns, and 5 interceptions. He went into the NCAA transfer portal once the season was over. He eventually enrolled at UCLA.
Chase Griffin - 2021
Chase Griffin born on September 12, 2000, is an American football quarterback for the UCLA Bruins, who was once referred to as a 13-year-old prodigy.
He has won two national Name Image Likeness Male Athlete of the Year honors from the NIL Summit and Opendorse, making him a well-known figure in the NIL market for college athletics.
In Hutto, Texas, he attended Hutto High School. Griffin, a three-star prospect, ran for 415 yards and eight touchdowns in addition to passing for 4,051 yards and fifty-one scores as a senior. He won the Texas Gatorade Player of the Year award as well.
Griffin accepted a football scholarship offer from the University of California, LA on June 16, 2018, in addition to five other Ivy League schools.
He red-shirted the 2019 season before making his UCLA debut in the 2020 campaign. Finally, against the No. 11 Oregon Ducks, Griffin made his debut when the starting quarterback was sidelined by COVID-19.
He completed nineteen of thirty-one passes and passed for a touchdown in his first collegiate start. He was again used in the season finale versus Stanford after the starter quarterback suffered a knee injury. However, in a game that ended in double overtime and a 48-47 loss to the Cardinal, he gave his best-ever performance of the season.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson - 2020
Dorian Thompson-Robinson is an American Football QB who currently plays for the Cleveland Browns of the NFL. He was born on 1999, November 14.
Thompson-Robinson, a four-star recruit, threw for 3,275 yards and 38 touchdowns as a senior while also rushing for 426 yards and seven more. He chose UCLA as his collegiate football team.
In 2018, Thompson-Robinson's first year at UCLA, he played in 10 games. He started the first offensive action in seven of those 10 games. On October 6, in a defeat against No. 10 Washington, Thompson-Robinson completed 27-38 passes for 272 yards and two scores.
In a victory over California the next week, on October 13, Thompson-Robinson completed 13 of 15 passes for an 86.6% completion rate. In a game with at least 15 passes, this was the third-highest completion percentage by a UCLA quarterback since 1980.
Started as the starting quarterback in his second campaign. Thompson-Robinson was once more selected as the starting quarterback for the 2020 season, which was postponed and made short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in his third season.

He had his first career action in a reserve position at Arizona and completed 5 of 9 passes for 48 yards to score his first career touchdown throw to Kyle Philips versus Ohio State University when he completed 4 of 4 throws at USC, totaling 16 yards.
Wilton Speight - 2018
Wilton Speight used to play as a quarterback in American football. He participated in collegiate football for the Michigan Wolverines and UCLA Bruins.
He made the decision to transfer to UCLA for his final year of eligibility on April 12, 2018. On August 30, 2018, it was revealed that Chip Kelly, the head coach of the Bruins, had selected him to start at quarterback against the University of Cincinnati.
Sadly, he had a back injury in the opening game, and Dorian Thompson-Robinson had to step in to take Speight's position in the second quarter.
The next time Speight played in a game was on October 20, when the Bruins faced the Arizona Wildcats. Dorian Thompson-Robinson, a true freshman quarterback, sustained an injury in the second quarter, and Speight entered the game to replace him.
The Bruins upset the Wildcats 31-30 thanks to Speight, who completed seventeen of twenty-seven throws for 204 yards, 2 touchdowns, and no interceptions. On November 10, in a 31-28 loss to Arizona State, Speight threw for a season-high 335 yards and two touchdowns.
Josh Rosen - 2017
Josh Rosen is an American football QB who played college football for the UCLA Bruins, receiving Freshman Offensive Player of the Year awards in 2015.
He established the school record for most throwing yards in a single season during his junior year. He registered early at UCLA in order to participate in spring practice, and he started taking studies there in January 2015.
The squad suffered a significant loss when Hundley, the team's three-year starter quarterback, left early for the NFL. Rosen was UCLA's top quarterback during the spring, and as a true freshman, he continued to contend during summer camp to start for the team. He was designated the Bruins' starting quarterback on August 26.
In 2016, while throwing for a then-career-high 400 yards against the Arizona State Sun Devils on October 8, Rosen suffered an injury. Due to a shoulder injury, he was out for the remainder of the season.
In Rosen's six starts for UCLA, which went 3-3, he was sacked thirteen times, compared to fourteen in the whole 2015 season. Without him, the Bruins finished the season 1-5 and were ineligible for the playoffs.
In the 2017 season's first game, Rosen completed thirty-five of fifty-nine passes for 491 yards and 4 touchdowns at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. He was popularly known as Chosen One and Chosen Rosen.
Mike Fafaul - 2016
Mike Fafaul a QB who started his career as a senior for Loyola in 2010 in high school, has won many awards during his high school days as an athlete.
However, in 2016, he started the season as the holder and started the final six games as the quarterback. He has set records for the most pass completions with forty and the most passing attempts in a game with seventy against Utah. He threw for 464 yards against Utah, placing third on the all-time school list.
The sixth quarterback for the UCLA Bruins to throw for at least 400 yards in a game followed. Together with Josh Rosen, he became the first UCLA quarterback pair to throw for at least 1,000 yards in a single season.
His 3 touchdown passes against Washington State in his first career start equaled the school record for a quarterback's debut game and were the most ever thrown by a Bruin quarterback. His five touchdown passes against Utah are tied for second-most in a single game at his school all-time.
Jerry Neuheisel - 2015
Jerry Neuheisel is an American QB who played for 3 different coaches during his three seasons at Loyola High School with Mike, Kearnin, and Guerra.
He received three stars from rivals dot com and was placed number 28 among quarterbacks who play professionally. He made his debut in a game in 2013 while filling in as the backup quarterback and holder.
In contrast, he was Texas' backup quarterback in 2014 when, in the first quarter, he replaced Brett Hundley and helped the team rally for a 20-17 victory.
For his performance against Texas, he was named the conference's Player of the Week. Furthermore, against Stanford, filled in for Hundley and completed 3 of 9 throws for 16 yards and an interception.
Brett Hundley - 2014
American Quarterback Brett Hundley was the UCLA Bruins' all-time leader in total offense and touchdown passes while playing college football for the Bruins.
He played high school football for the Wolves squad while attending Chandler High School in Chandler, Arizona. Hundley had a 16-8 overall record in his high school career as a starter.
Brett was the second-best dual-threat QB recruit in his class. In his first season, Hundley was selected as UCLA's starting QB for 2012. He guided the Bruins to a 10-win season in 2013.
Hundley and teammate Jordan Zumwalt were voted the Sun Bowl's co-most valuable players as UCLA defeated Virginia Tech 42-12.
Moreover, during his junior year, Brett Hundley stayed at UCLA as he was eligible for the NFL draft. Fortunately, he also surpassed Cade McNown's record of sixty-eight touchdown passes to become UCLA's all-time leader in touchdown passes. In school history, he concluded his career with 9,966 passing yards, trailing only McNown.
