Andre Agassi Brooke Shields Wedding Woes and Relationship Timeline

Andre Agassi and Brooke Shields met for the first time during a tennis match in 1993. They stayed in contact after their first meeting through fax until their first official date.

In April 1997, Agassi tied the knot with Shields, a famous actress and model. The pair married in a lavish ceremony at St. John's Episcopal Chapel in Monterey in front of 100 guests who bestowed their wishes to the newlyweds.

The ceremony photos revealed Brooke in an elegant gown whereas Agassi wore a fancy suit with a plain shirt. 

Similarly, the reception gathering was held at the grandiose Stonepine Estate Resort, an upscale oasis in the coveted Carmel Valley.

Despite their union, their marriage was fraught with difficulties, and they had minimal interactions, residing apart from each other.

After two years of marriage, Andre and Brooke's relationship ended in 1999 per Distractify. They mutually admitted that it was a misguided decision with a rugged beginning.

Shields has revealed in her memoir, "There Was a Little Girl," that she always had doubts about her relationship with the tennis champ and knew she had made a mistake marrying him.

After their nuptials, she realized the next day that they were drifting apart, with him focusing on his tennis career and her working on her TV show.

Their liaison deteriorated further when Agassi confessed to being addicted to substances since they started dating in 1993. Although Shields wanted to work things out, they could not take it further. 

Besides Agassi's substance problem, the Pretty Baby star also cited his extreme jealousy as another factor contributing to their separation. In interviews, she revealed that Andre often became jealous of her male co-stars and friends.

The couple had no kids, which would complicate their divorce. Agassi stated they decided to have children if the relationship prospered further.

Brooke currently lives in Greenwich Village New York City with her husband Chris Henchy and their two kids. After splitting from Agassi, she remarried.

Henchy is a television writer who she married in 2001 as they met each other for the first time in 1999.

Moreover, Shields gave birth to two daughters, Rowan Francis Henchy and Grier Hammond Henchy. 

After two years of marital bliss since their union on April 4, 2001, Shields and Henchy were overjoyed with the arrival of their firstborn, Rowan, who is now 19 years old.

Currently, the Agassi and Graf nestle with their young ones in Summerlin, a beautiful community in the Las Vegas Valley. Not only do they enjoy the privacy of this area, but they also have Graf's mother and brother, Michael, with his four children, living close by.
