Yes, Anthony Volpe has one siblings, a sister named Olivia Volpe. Olivia is a summer intern at Napoli Shkolnik PLLC and played soccer in college.

Anthony is a baseball shortstop for New York Yankees and played for the Somerset Patriots of Minor League Baseball, the AA affiliate of the New York Yankees organization, as the #7 shortstop.

As the 30th overall choice in the first round of the 2019 draft, Anthony was chosen by the Yankees. Growing up admiring Derek Jeter he has established himself as a professional baseball player today. 

Jeter played for the Yankees as the youngest member in 1996, and similar to that, Anthony has also become the youngest starting pitcher. 

Representing American League at All-Star Future Game, he was promoted to Scranton/Wikles-Barre RailRiders of the Triple-A International League. 

The Yankees welcomed Volpe to spring training, where he faced off against Oswald Peraza for the starting shortstop position. 

Volpe was named the starting shortstop on the Yankees' Opening Day roster on March 26, 2023.

Anthony Volpe has only one siblings named Olivia Volpe. Olivia studied at Georgetown University and played soccer at Pingry Girl's team for four years. 

During her soccer career, she won the nonpublic group A South State Championship in 2018.

She has been interested in sports since a young age; Olivia and Anthony used to watch the Yankees' 2009 victory celebration together. 

In 2017, Olivia secured a goal in the NJ state tournament and celebrated the win with her team. Her father shares her soccer career picture on his Instagram account. 

She studied at Pingry High School and was involved in different activities during her time at school. She was Skyland Conference Scholar Athlete, recipient of Cornell Book, varsity basketball and soccer captain, and won PSPA Women's Sports Award.

Olivia is currently studying Political Economy at Georgetown University. She did intern at Christine Ead and Kurt Dahl part-time for seven months.

Olivia is two years younger than Anthony, and they share an incredible bond. Together they have explored many destinations.

She spent her weekend at Louisa May Alcott's Orchard House with her friend on November 29, 2020. Olivia has shared her personal life pictures on her social media account but not photos of her soccer career.

Anthony Volpe Parents

Anthony Volpe parents are Michael Volpe and Isabella Volpe. Both Michael and Isabella are professional doctors.

Volpe mom Isabella is originally from the Philippines while dad Michael has an Italian background. Anthony inherits mixed ancestry with a Filipino touch.  

Isabella is an anesthesiologist, and Michael is a urologist at Summit Health. Michael studied at George Washington University.

Despite their busy schedule, they always attend New York Yankees games and support their son. 

Michael sees himself as a Yankee supporter, and he enjoys telling the story of how his father, born in 1941, didn't meet his grandfather for several years after he suffered an injury in World War II.

He stated, 'My father would sit on his lap, and they would listen to the Yankee game together.' His father and grandfather's love for baseball have been passed to his son Anthony.

Anthony wears Mickey Mantle’s No. 7 on the Patriots because it was his grandfather’s favorite player. He credits his success to his mom and dad who have always been there for him.

He stated that 'They put in a lot of effort to get where they are. He recalls how they never said "no" and did everything necessary to make him feel better.'

Isabella stated that they hadn't missed any home games, and though it's cold, they wear winter coats, hats, scarves, blankets, and everything else.

Anthony, with his mom and dad, celebrated the 2020 New Year together. Michael is active on his social media account and he usually shares his son's and daughter's professional career pictures.

Anthony Volpe Childhood

Anthony was born on April 28, 2001 in Watchung, New Jersey, US. He spent his childhood playing baseball from the age of eight. 

He was interested in baseball since a young age and he was always a baseball fan and knew professional players. Anthony lived in Brooklyn and when he was in the fourth grade he moved to Watchung with his family. 

He played baseball for the school's baseball team while attending Delbarton School in Morristown, New Jersey.

Volpe decided to attend Vanderbilt University and play baseball in college. Since he started playing baseball at a young age, Anthony has joined various national and state baseball teams.

He played for Japan, and Taiwan and traveled with his family. At 15, he played in Japan against the Japanese National Team and performed excellently. 

In high school, Volpe was named 2019 New Jersey Player of the Year by Perfect Game.
