Brandon Miller mom Yolanda Miller is a former high school track runner. Brandon grew up in Antioch Tennessee alongside his two siblings.

The 6 feet 9 inches tall basketball prodigy grew up in an athletic background with his family members involved in sports in one way or another.

With the 2023 NBA draft set to take place on June 22 at Barclays Center, Miller is projected to be the top-3 pick alongside generational talent Victor Wembanyama and Scoot Henderson.

While Wembanyama is almost certain to be picked by San Antonio Spurs, Miller might be picked by Charlotte Hornets over Scoot Henderson.

However, if the Hornets decide to use their second overall pick on Henderson, Portland Trail Blazers will likely draft Miller barring any surprises.

Coming out of Cane Ridge High School as a five-star recruit, Brandon committed to play collegiate basketball for the Alabama Crimson Tide basketball team and made an immediate impact in his freshman season.

The 20-year-old small forward was named the 2023 SEC Player of the Year after averaging 18.8 points, 2.1 assists, and 8.2 rebounds per game.

Brandon Miller parents are Darrell Miller and Yolanda Miller. Brandon was born as their youngest child on 22 November 2002 in Antioch, TN.

Yolanda herself was a high school athlete and ran track back in the day. She has been highly influential in the phenomenal career growth of Brandon supporting and motivating him from childhood.

Yolanda remains an active persona on social media and often takes to Twitter to share the accolades of the rising basketball small forward. From high school achievements to his collegiate career to the draft talks now, she proudly shares it all on her Twitter handle.

Brandon Miller dad Darrell Miller is a former tight end at the Alabama Crimson Tide football team in the early 90s. With options to play for Alabama, Georgia Bulldogs, and Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket football teams, Darrell opted for the Crimson Tide.

The senior Miller earlier played varsity football at Hillsboro High School in Nashville, Tennessee alongside fellow running back Mose Phillips.

However, with the birth of his first child and finding it difficult to manage time playing football as a young father, Darrell took a decision to sway away from football and moved back to Nashville in 1991.

Despite parting ways from their professional athletic careers, the love and passion for sports remained deeply instilled within the Miller couple and transmitted the same into their offspring.

Brandon Miller Siblings

Brandon Miller family also includes brother Darrell Miller Jr. and sister Britany Miller. Darrell Jr. is the eldest in the lineage of three siblings.

Britany, the older sister of Brandon, was born on June 1, 2000. She was a junior forward at Cumberland Phoenix women's basketball team.

The 5 feet 11 inches tall Britany also played varsity basketball at Cane Ridge High School in Nashville. Thanks to her impressive performance, she was named to the All-Conference Honorable Mention in 2020.

Britany graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Cumberland University in May 2022 and celebrated the special moment with her beloved brothers and family members.

Brandon Miller Brother

Darrell Jr. was born on 10 Jan 1990 and graduated from Fisk University in 2014. He also had a great passion for basketball from the early days.

He was a forward for the Fisk Bulldogs men's basketball team during his collegiate days, where he donned the no. 32 jersey. The 6 feet 8 inches tall Darrell Jr. decided to pursue his professional career overseas post his graduation from Fisk University.

He joined Saigon Heat, a Vietnamese professional basketball team based in Ho Chi Minh City in 2016 and played in the VBA league. Following a one-year stint there, Darrell joined the Mexican side Nogaleros.

With the majority of the season plagued by injuries, he decided to move to Hungary and played for Cegled. Not only did he lead Cegled to the championship triumph in 2019, but Miller Jr. was also adjudged the MVP of the tournament.

He relished his playing time with the Hungarian side and won a consecutive championship. However, he later decided to return back to Vietnam where he briefly played for Da Nang Dragons in the VBA.

Talking about his personal life, Darrell Jr. has been in a relationship with Jaz for more than five years. The dazzling pair welcomed a baby boy named Maze on February 3, 2021. Per their Instagram post, the duo are all set to say their wedding vows on September 9, 2023.

Brandon Miller High School

Brandon attended Cane Ridge High School in Nashville, Tennessee. He showed early signs of his basketball prowess while playing for the Ravens.

The small forward is rightly considered one of the best players in Cane Ridge history. He averaged 24.1 points, 4.3 assists, and 8.5 rebounds per game while leading the Ravens to a phenomenal 15-1 record and a Class AAA state championship game.

Miller won the consecutive Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year in 2021 and 2022, whilst being ranked the number one prospect in the state.

Brandon averaged 23.3 points, 4.3 assists, 8 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per game during his junior season. He improved even more in his senior year averaging 24.1 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.

He was invited to the Nike Elite 100 camp as a freshman and named First Team All-State by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association. Moreover, the young rising star also played in the McDonald's All-American Game and Jordan Brand Classic.

Brandon was a consensus five-star recruit per Rivals, 247Sports, and ESPN coming out of high school. With such an impressive resume early on, he decided to play for the University of Alabama in NCAA Division I.
