Carlos Correa was born on September 22 1994 in Ponce Puerto Rico to parents Carlos Sr. and Sandybel Oppenheimer.

Carlos family had a small house in a fishing village in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico called Barrio Velazquez, where he spent his entire childhood. His father trained him from an early age to become a professional baseball player as a neighbor suggested Carlos Sr enrolled him in a youth league when he was just five years old.

She got the opportunity to travel to the Los Angeles area to watch his brother’s game and celebrate her birthday with none other than Ohtani himself. She asked her brother to have a picture taken with Ohtani on her birthday and he did not let his sister down.

Leiby waited in the area outside hoping that Ohtani would get a chance to escape his pregame routine for the photo. Leiby actually behaved brilliantly in front of her idol and not only got a photo with him but also an Ohtani-signed jersey.
