Clay Travis wife Lara Travis is married on August 16, 2004. Lara is a former cheerleader for the Tennessee Titans in the NFL.

Clay is the eponymous star of "The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show" alongside his co-host, Buck. He is best known for founding "OutKick the Coverage," a sports media network.

The news site's success has made it one of the most visited college football sites online. Travis started OutKick's radio show on Fox Sports Radio in 2016 while extending its reach to political and entertainment news.

Travis utilizes his work time of attending games for his reports as well as to spend some lovely time with his loved ones.

Lara Travis Is A Big Wrestling Fan

Lara is a former cheerleader for the Tennessee Titans in the NFL. Lara an avid sports fan and huge follower of Wrestlemania

Lara had openly shared her happiness when the superstar wrestler Roman Reigns noticed her in the audience seat.

She again visited the WWE backstage in October of the same year and met with wrestler Rhea Ripley, as seen on an Instagram post. She called the WWE champion an inspiration. 

Mrs. Travis follows up on almost every sport, including NFL games that she attends with her hubby. She supported the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles in their game on February 13.

She had hoped that both the teams would instead enjoy the game. Meanwhile, her sports journalist partner was on the Chiefs' side which they won.

Lara, a former NFL cheerleader, maintains a close tie with the league and her former cheerleading colleagues. 

She along with her Tennessee Professional Football Alumni Cheerleader friends and A.B.C. Foundation had organized a free youth football and dance/cheer camp at Antioch High School in Antioch, Texas, in August 2022.

Lara is a free-spirited person who enjoys traveling around the world and going on tropical vacations every now and then. 

She usually posts about her adventurous travel routines while her June 21, 2017 post won hearts. She had posted a no-makeup selfie promoting Rodan + Fields' initiative of donating $1 to the Prescription for Change project for each selfie.

Clay Travis Had A Wedding In 2004

Clay Travis married Lara on August 16, 2004, when he was working as a lawyer in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Tennessee. They have been married for eighteen years as of 2023.

The pair got married in an elegant ceremony though Lara is still angry about Clay's haircut that day. Through February 2023 Clay and Buck podcast segment, the OutKick leader revealed that he considers his wedding hair look "the worst haircut known to man."

He later suggested new grooms not make any aggressive decisions regarding personal grooming that might substantially alter one's natural look.

Both have moved on from their D-Day memories while the two's travel routine continues to thrive. It is evident that the Travises are fond of beaches and exotic locations.

They were seen at Rosemary Beach in 2018 as both were confused about which place they liked better, Europe or North Florida.

From their never-ending flight schedules to beach fun, Clay and Lara started their 2023 New Year with a dinner night at the house of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

The two then hiked Camelback Mountain at the start of February for fun. 

Travis Has Three Kids

Clay Travis is a father to three children, all boys, from his union with Lara. They have become big fans of football and other sporting activities.

All three young men join their mom and dad at their work and enjoy a good game. However, the Travis couple has kept their kids' names away from public acknowledgment.

Clay, in June 2022, shared that he was kicked out of his 11-year-old son's Little League Baseball game. The altercation caused Clay to share the incident on his podcast and its clip on social media, making headlines.

He had confronted the umpire about the latter's 10-minute bathroom break between half innings of the game.

The ump then ruled Clay's son's play as batter interference when the opposing team’s catcher attempted to throw a runner out at the third base to add to the complaint.

Moreover, Clay's oldest son also attends a private school in Nashville, while his other two attend Williamson County schools.

Regarding the private school topic, the podcast host revealed that he and Lara were fortunate to afford the cost through a January 2021 tweet.

Besides the difference between the schools and sports they play, the Travis boys enjoy adventurous lives around stadiums and sportspeople most of the time.

Clay Travis Eddie George Friendship

Clay Travis wife Lara and entire family are close to Eddie George. Travis maintains a professional friendship with the NFL coach George.

Clay got an email from a friend with severe allegations of affair between Lara and Eddie but he downplayed it. This was just a stunt to downplay her personality.

Eddie spent most of his time with the State from 1996 to 2003. He played as a running back for the team while Lara was a cheerleader. Hence, the two's friendship introduced Clay to the State.

Eddie played with the Dallas Cowboys briefly in 2004 and ended his career. He returned to the NFL scene in 2021 as the head coach.

As fellow football careermen, both Clay and Geoge have acknowledged each other's presence in the field. Hence, they share a good bond on the grounds but not as family friends.

Meanwhile, they share the same wedding year as they married in 2004. George is married to Tamara Johnson aka Taj, one of the three members of Sisters with Voices (SWV).

Taj was a contestant in the " Survivor: Tocantins-The Brazilian Highlands" season 18 of the Survivor game series in 2009. She was the 12th person to be voted out of the game.
