Growing up in Milwaukee, the 23-year-old shooting guard attended Rufus High School in Milwaukee before transferring to the La Lumiere School in La Porte, Indiana.
"Poole Party" spent most of his childhood practicing basketball and competing in local and national tournaments. He played school basketball as a freshman.
His dad was like his personal coach in childhood who helped him understand and focus on basketball.
He played for various college teams as a Blue Chip before receiving the playing offer from Michigan State. He also played for Michigan Wolverines during his freshman year in high school.
After joining La Lumiere School, Poole became a member of Dick's National High School Champion La Lumiere Team in 2017. He was 18 years old when he joined the University of Michigan.
