Josh Allen Diligent Parents And Story Of Growing Up In A Family Farm

Josh Allen learned the value of hard work as a child while working on his family farm. Josh father admits he put him to work on the dirt. 

According to Josh's dad, who told the Denver Post, they mostly grow cotton, cantaloupes, tiny grains, and other crops that necessitate sprinklers or mobile irrigation pipes. 

Joel praised his son, saying he was there to assist him whenever he needed him to run a tractor. Josh even chipped off the cotton, which explains his hard work and work ethic. 

Besides, Allen owned 2,000 acres of property, so there was a lot of work to be done.

In addition, he has earned various accolades for his agricultural effort and skills, including a spot in the top four in the country for different crop production of cantaloupe, cotton, and wheat in 2014. 

Who Is Joel Allen?

Josh Allen dad Joel Allen is the co-owner of Allen Family Orchards. Joel is a former board member of the Firebaugh Las Deltas Bond Committee. 

Allen Family Orchards have been family owned and operated since 2008. It is located in the heart of Bladen County on Highway 87. Since its opening in 2008, they have planted 2 acres of pecan trees, which have expanded to 24 acres. 

Likewise, his Facebook profile lists his professional career achievements, including being the former president of Broadview Coop Gin, Merced County Swim League, Firebaugh Area Swim Team, Tots Pre School, and many more.

He is also the owner-operator of Joel Allen Ranch and co-founder of The Farmers' Daughter.

On the other hand, Joel had always been inquisitive about agriculture, and he even held a degree in agricultural business administration from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly). 

Aside from that, on September 17, 1988, he married his wife, Lavonne. The couple celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary in 2022. 

Furthermore, the date is based on a Facebook post in which Joel wished his wife a happy 25th anniversary, noting that he married a lady who was attractive, lively, clever, and full of life 25 years ago. She has rocked his world ever since and given him four exceptional children.

Josh's mother owned and operated The Farmer's Daughter, one of Firebaugh's few eateries. The restaurant served many people in town, including several farmers. 

Josh and his three siblings helped on the farm and washed dishes for their mother in exchange for a free meal during their school lunch. 

Aside from that, her Facebook profile is filled with photographs of her family and children and depicts how pleased and blessed she is with her four children. 

Josh has three siblings two sisters and a brother. Josh is the second of Joel and LaVonne's four children.

His younger sister, Makenna, is also a standout athlete at the local high school, participating in volleyball, basketball, and softball. 

His brother Jason is a former outfielder for the Saddleback College baseball team. Although the family is competitive, they all push one another to do their best. 

Eldest Sister Nicala Madden Allen

Nicala is a central California campaign director at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The oldest of the four siblings completed her marketing internship at Honda Center.

She also had a brief stint as a volleyball player during college. She graduated from California State University and worked as an Orange Coast magazine marketing coordinator. Furthermore, she began a new chapter as a California-licensed real estate agent in 2022.

Josh Allen Brother Jason Allen

Josh brother Jason Allen had a brief stint of a baseball career. Jason graduated from Firebaugh High School, where he lettered in baseball, football, and basketball before graduating in 2015.

Allen was a two-time all-league baseball player, a league MVP in basketball, and a two-time league champion at FHS. 

During college, he volunteered in the community, read to children, and coached young basketball players. Nevertheless, Jason majored in liberal studies at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California.

Youngest Sibling Makenna Allen

Josh youngest sister Makenna Allen is a student at the University of Arizona. Makenna graduated from Firebaugh High School in 2019. 

She played basketball, baseball, and volleyball during high school and was selected as the Firebaugh Girls Basketball Player of the Game in 2016. 

Josh family has lived in Firebaugh since his great-grandfather Arvid "Swede" Allen settled there during the Great Depression.

In addition, his great-grandpa emigrated from Sweden to Ellis Island in 1907. 

His paternal grandpa, A.E. "Buzz" Allen, founded the farm where he was raised in 1975. He was also a longstanding member of the local school board and the namesake of Firebaugh High School's gymnasium, from which Allen graduated in 2014. 

Further, his paternal grandmother, Patricia "Pat" Lee Allen, born September 28, 1940, passed away on November 7, 2020, and was reunited with her loving husband, A.E., who perished in 2013, as per Joel Allen's Facebook post. 

Pat grew up in Dos Palos, CA, and married Buzz in 1959. The pair eventually relocated to Firebaugh, CA, where they farmed and reared their four children. Buzz and Pat retired to Fresno, CA. 

Pat volunteered for numerous community organizations, including Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Little League, Pop Warnor football, swim teams, parent groups, and the Panoche Guild.

Like her husband, she was also a driving force behind the successful bond effort that resulted in Firebaugh getting its high school, from which all of her children and numerous grandkids graduated. 

Josh Allen and his girlfriend Brittany Williams grew up together.

Brittany confessed in an Instagram comment that she had a thing for the future quarterback when they were kids.

Early in their relationship, she tweeted a photo of herself and Allen with the description her 8-year-old infatuation became her boyfriend a few years later.

During an appearance on Kelly Stafford's The Morning After the podcast, Williams revealed how she and Allen first met as children in Fresno, California.

Although Josh and Britt had known one other since they were kids, Allen ghosted her after their birthday party encounter, and they later saw each other again when they were approximately 16 or 17.

The couple later reconnected at Allen's family restaurant, where, as Williams described on The Morning After, she decided to "go for it" and kissed him in the parking lot. Since then, Williams has been an outspoken supporter of her boyfriend's football career.

Brittany Williams attended Fresno State University. Brittany was a member of the cheerleading squad and the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.

Likewise, Williams is a Pilates instructor and the founder of the online training platform Pilates by Britt. She often uploads training videos to her @pilatesby.britt Instagram account, and she disclosed in a story that she's been doing Pilates since she was "about 15."
