LIV payouts to golfers is $4 million for the winner of an individual event. Each LIV Golf tournament offers a total prize purse of $25 million.
Launched as the direct competitor to PGA Tour Golf in 2022, LIV events are providing significantly higher prize money to golfers compared to the PGA Tour.
PGA Tour events have an average purse of $7.5 million, with the winner bagging home $1.5 million.
Meanwhile, the LIV Golf tournaments offer a guaranteed minimum of $25 million per event, with $20M going to the individual competition and $5 M for the team contest.
The player who wins an individual tournament gets $4 million and the runner-up receives $2.25 million. Anyone who comes in last place in the 48-player tournaments gets $120,000.
Similarly, the team prize money is $3 million for the champions, which they share among their four players.

Gooch finished at the top of the LIV Golf Adelaide that took place at The Grange Gold Club, Australia. The Oklahoma native continued his success in the following event clinching LIV Golf Singapore in April, making it two wins in a row.
His third victory came in Spain at the LIV Golf Anadalucia when he defeated Bryson DeChambeau by one point.

Although the details of the LIV Golf contracts are confidential, a recent report has revealed some information about the substantial agreements that players like Phil Mickelson, Cameron Smith, and Dustin Johnson have entered into.
Mickelson is the most decorated golfer to have signed for the Saudi-backed golf tour. He agreed on a $200 million worth contract spanning over 3 years till 2025.
