However, Mark Murdock replaced him in games with the University of North Texas and the University of Oklahoma.
When playing for Arkansas, Kelley placed in favor of Murdock, who almost brought the team back from a 24-3 deficit.

Shari was an All-American gymnast at West Virginia University. She was WVU's first women's sports All-American who won first-team accolades in the all-around at the 1982 AIAW national gymnastics.
As a freshman, Shari has earned four letters and helped the 10th-seeded Mountaineers place third in the national championships.
She won numerous awards, including balance beam champion of the NCAA regional competition, Most Valuable Gymnast, and Atlantic 10 Senior of the Year.
Shari has a daughter Jaci Timko, a softball head coach at New Jersey City University Athletics.
