Chattanooga Lookouts minor league baseball TN has been the Double-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds since 2019. The roster plays in the North Division in the Southern League; Double-A South became known as the Southern League in 2022.

Their home park has been the AT&T Field since 2000. The ballpark has a seating capacity of 6,340 since its opening in 2000. The team's name was derived from Lookout Mountain, situated along the line of their home city of Chattanooga.

Atlanta banker John Woods and Hardball Capital Group CEO Jason Freier purchased the team's ownership in 2015. Meanwhile, Rich Mozingo is the current president of the Lookouts, while Ricky Gutiérrez manages it.

With a full-fledged staff and roster, the Lookouts also boasts TV and radio broadcast teams. Their games are televised on MiLB.Tv while 96.1 The Legend radio broadcasts on the radio.

Looie the Lookout is the official mascot of the team.

Note: Chattanooga Lookouts has been in existence since 1885. However, they took the name "Montgomery Rebels" only in 1943.

Memphis Redbirds are St. Louis Cardinals Triple-A affiliate that has been in practice since 1998.

The Redbirds play at the International League and are the 2018 Triple-A National Champions. Meanwhile, their home stadium has been the AutoZone Park in downtown Memphis since 2000.

Rockey the Redbird has been the team's mascot since the 1998 season. Rockey is an anthropomorphic cardinal who wears the team jersey with 901, which is Memphis' telephone area code.

Peter B. Freund owns the Redbirds, while Craig Unger is the current General Manager. Likewise, Ben Johnson manages the team alongside coach Will Peterson.

The Redbirds are a part of the West Division in Memphis, Tennessee. 

Note: Memphis Redbirds previously played at the Tim McCarver Stadium from 1998 to 1999.

Nashville Sounds are the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. The two team's partnership has come to fruition as of the 2021 season.

The Sounds are in the West Division and play in the International League (IL). Meanwhile, they previously played in the Southern League from 1978 to 1984, American Association from 1985 to 1997, Pacific Coast League from 1998 to 2020, and Triple-A East in 2021.

Nashville Sounds' mascot is an anthropomorphic rooster named Booster. He wears the team jersey with the number zero on it.

Booster first debuted on April 17, 2015, at the Sounds' first game at First Tennessee Park. The team is owned by the joint venture of MFP Baseball, and Nashville Sounds Baseball Club.

Their General manager is Adam English, while Rick Sweet manages the team alongside four coaches. Likewise, the Sounds' games are broadcasted on MiLB.TV and on the 94.9 FM The Fan.

Tennessee Smokies of Kodak has been an affiliate of the Chicago Cubs since 2007. They have been in the Double-A class since 1963.

Their name is an homage to the Great Smoky Mountains mountain range based in the region.

The Smokies play in the Southern League as a part of the North Division. Their home stadium is the Smokies Stadium which was inaugurated in 2000.

Their team mascot is Homer the Hound, often called the friendliest in the bunch.

Likewise, Boyd Sports owns the team while GM is Tim Volk. Their games are broadcasted by MiLB.TV and WETR FM. Smokies plans to move into a new facility in Knoxville beginning in the 2025 season.

Elizabethton Twins were based in Elizabethton, Tennessee. They were a Rookie-level affiliate of the MLB Minnesota Twins from 1974 to 2020.

The team played their home games at Northeast Community Credit Union Ballpark. They played in the Appalachian League in which they won 37 league awards.

The Twins had won 12 league titles and 16 division titles until 2020.

Coming into the 2021 season, the Appalachian League was reorganized as a collegiate summer baseball league; hence, the Twins got rebranded as the Elizabethton River Riders.

The Riders comprise rising college freshmen and sophomore athletes to play in the new version of the Appalachian League.

Greeneville Reds were a Rookie-level team affiliated with the Cincinnati Reds from 2018 to 2020. They played in the now-defunct Appalachian League.

Their home stadium was Pioneer Park, located on Tusculum College's campus. Meanwhile, the team represented the town of Greeneville.

After the 2021 renewal of the Appalachian League as a collegiate summer baseball league, the Reds have also been replaced by a new franchise named Greeneville Flyboys.

The Flyboys are the 2021 Appalachian League Champions.

The Jackson Generals played as a Double-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks from 2017 to 2020. They played in the Southern League, but since no team lined up for 2021, the team is no longer active.

Meanwhile, the City of Jackson has planned to host a team in the collegiate summer Prospect League in 2023. The new team will be called the Jackson Rockabillys.

Before their disbandment, the Generals used to play at the Ballpark at Jackson as their home field.

The Generals won four league titles and seven division titles with the support of their mascot, Sarge the Bulldog. 

Moreover, they had been a part of many MLB teams throughout the years, including the Chicago Cubs from 1998 to 2006, Seattle Mariners from 2007 to 2016, and Arizona Diamondbacks from 2017 to 2020.

Johnson City Cardinals is another MiLB team to have been out of action due to the change in the Appalachian League in 2021. They had bagged ten league and 8 division titles before Covid canceled their playing days.

The rookie team was an affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals from 1975 to 2020. Likewise, the team played in their home ground of TVA Credit Union Ballpark.

Johnson City Doughboys have replaced the City Cardinals in the summer collegiate Appalachian League.

Johnson City Yankees, Phillies, and Soldiers are the previous names of the team. They played from 1910 to 2020, making them a reputable minor league team.

The revamp of the Appalachian League also changed Kingsport Mets into Kingsport Axmen. Axmen kept much of their team identity resemblance similar to the Mets, MLB reported.

The Mets were a rookie-level minor affiliate team to the New York Mets.

The rookies had won seven league titles from 1944 to 1995 and five division titles from 1973 to 1996. Slider was their official mascot who wore the number 00 on his jersey.

Kingsport Mets played in their home ground of Hunter Wright Stadium from 1995 to 2020, which has been passed down to the Axmen. John Gibbons was the last manager of the team.
