Renee disliked Nancy's interest in basketball and didn't support her daughter's passion for the sport.
At a young age, when Nancy was practicing dribbling techniques inside her home, her mom asked her to stop dribbling because of the noise.
Nancy continued practicing as her mother punctured the basketball with the screwdriver.
She continued with another ball but her mother punctured that ball also. Five balls were eventually destroyed in this way.
After that, Lieberman made the decision that she should leave the house before she ran out of basketballs.
However, today Nancy has made name for herself and is well renowned. She usually hangs out with her mother.
