Chubba is mostly known for having a strong arm and is a talented young quarterback who currently plays for Nebraska Cornhuskers in College Football.

Having joined Nebraska from Florida State in 2022, his first game for the team came against Oklahoma. He guided the team on one of its two touchdowns, going 7 of 11 for 35 yards and adding 29 yards rushing on five attempts, including a score of eight yards.

In place of injured starter Casey Thompson, he earned his first career start against Minnesota, where he contributed a total of 65 offensive yards and a rushing touchdown in the first quarter, giving the team a 10-point lead. He is ahead of Nebraska quarterback Sims in picking order, who was also Nebraska football quarterback 2023.

In spite of being forced to leave the game early due to a season-ending injury, Purdy started for the second consecutive week against Michigan, completing the game as the team's leading passer and runner.

Having started his school journey at Southmoore High School, he went on to join Texas in 2018 for College and then shifted to Nebraska in 2022, after just one year he transferred to Florida Atlantic.

In his debut season at Nebraska in 2022, he overcame injuries to start at quarterback in 10 of the 12 games while missing the Minnesota and Michigan games for not being fit enough to play.

In his debut against Northwestern, Thompson completed 25 of his 42 passes for 355 yards and scored 1 touchdown.

Thompson played a key role in Nebraska at Rutgers after trailing from behind to register victory. His 24-of-36 completion rate for 232 yards and two touchdown passes in the second half helped the Huskers make a comeback after trailing from 13-point in the halftime.

In the last game of the season against Iowa, Thompson completed 20 of 30 passes for 278 yards and scored 3 touchdowns to help Nebraska win.

After completing high school from Clovis West he joined Nebraska. For the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team, Adrian Martinez served as the starting quarterback.

In 2018, Martinez made his college football debut as he became the first true freshman QB in the team's history to be named Nebraska starting QB to open the season. With more than 2,617 passing yards and 17 passing touchdowns, he ended his rookie season.

Martinez had high hopes for his second season in 2019. He had a terrible season, though, as Nebraska finished with a 5-7 record. Similarly, he had a mixed bag of results in his third year, losing his starting spot due to poor form before winning it again.

Martinez had 11 appearances for the Huskers in 2021, a 3-9 record. With 189 of his 306 throws completed, he gained 2,867 yards, 14 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.

He then was transferred to Kansan State in 2022, with one year of eligibility remaining.

Luke McCaffrey's brother Christian McCaffrey is an NFL player who belongs to a well-known football family. He chose Nebraska over many other teams to play his college football.

He began to play in his first year of college, frequently filling in as a backup to help the Cornhuskers' offense. He made 7 appearances out of 8 matches, starting at quarterback twice.

In addition to rushing 65 times for 364 yards and three touchdowns, McCaffrey completed 48 of 76 throws for 466 yards and one score.

McCaffrey was the third-leading rusher for Nebraska, and going into the bowl season, he was the 16th-best FBS quarterback in terms of rushing yards per game (52.0) among all quarterbacks, as well as the 20th-best freshman overall.

Having joined Nebraska In 2017, Bunch was the team's backup quarterback. He did not participate in any games, but he was named on the team roaster in a couple of away games.

In the second year, he made 5 appearances, beginning the season's second game against Troy. In addition to running 16 times for 40 yards, he completed 31 of his 47 passes which is a 66% completion percentage for 320 yards and 2 scores.

As a junior, Andrew Bunch played in 2 games. He led Nebraska's last match to victory at Maryland after throwing for 13 yards in the 4th quarter at Minnesota.

Matt Masker accepted to join Nebraska Cornhuskers in a walk-on offer on 2017 December 13 and 2018 August 1 he was enrolled in the team.

He was Nebraska's third-choice quarterback in the first season and couldn't manage any game-playing time in that season. However, he was named in the team's away game roster for visits to Michigan, Wisconsin, and Iowa.

After a few seasons with the team in 2021 he finally made his debut against Fordham, where they went on to win the game. Masker finished with 3 out of 3 passes for 17 yards and 13 yards.

The next season in 2022, didn't go as he hoped for as he made no appearances but provided depth to his team as a backup to starters. But his professionalism when not getting any playing time and humility were acknowledged by the team and was awarded with Big 10 Sportsmanship Award.

Lee shifted to Nebraska from Tulane in 2016 but was refrained because of NCAA transfer policy. In 2017, he was named as Nebraska's playing quarterback.

He made 238 yards and scored 2 touchdowns in his debut game for the Huskers against Arkansas.

In his only season with the team, he made more than 57% passing completions, scoring 23 touchdowns and 3143 yards, which was the 3rd highest total in football program history.

In 2018 April, he joined the Jacksonville Jaguars as an NFL quarterback and became one of many Nebraska players in NFL.

A 4-star recruit Tommy Armstong Jr. joined the Nebraska Cornhuskers back in 2012 from Steele High School. He was redshirted in 2012 as it was his first season.

In 2013, his freshman year he primarily served as a backup to Martinez. But still managed plenty of game time because of the injury to the starter Martinez. He finished 68 passes out of 131 pass attempts for 966 yards, scoring 9 touchdowns and 8 interceptions.

In his second year, he played all 13 games as a starter and managed 184 passes out of 345 for 2695 yards, twelve interceptions, twenty-two touchdowns, and rushing for 705 yards scoring 6 touchdowns. 

In 2015 he was a starter and had a decent season. He was again named Nebraska's starting QB for his final year. played 11 games as a starter out of 13, left out of 2 games because of the injury he sustained. His stats in the final year, he made 151 passes out of 294 for 2180 yards 8 interceptions, and fourteen touchdowns. He scored 8 touchdowns after rushing for 604 yards.

Having joined the college team Nebraska Cornhuskers from Grand Island High School, Ryker Fyfe unfortunately never made the starting role his own.

In 2013 his first year, he managed some playing time against South Dakota State where they won the match. In his second year, he got to play in 7 matches but late in a game and gave some fine performances.

He was then promoted to deputy QB to the starter Tommy Armstrong Jr. in the 2015 season. He managed just two matches that year and one was his first start ever against Purdue after the starter was out injured. He finished with 29 out of 48 attempted passes for 407 yards and 4 TDs in that game when Nebraska lost by a 55-45 scoreline.

His other game was against South Alabama where he made 5 passes out of 7 for 33 yards and 1 touchdown.

For the final year, he was again a backup QB but managed to get 8 appearances, two of which were as a starter.

Stanton started his college journey with the Nebraska Cornhuskers in 2013. He redshirted his first season with the team.

In the 2014 year, he was Nebraska's backup, covering for starting quarterback Tommy Armstrong. He got his maiden game time against Florida Atlantic and second playing time against Fresno State. 

In two matches he played in that season, he could only manage 1 passing attempt for 6 yards against Florida Atlantic. 

Next year he got transferred to Saddleback.
