The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) World Finals is the ultimate showdown in professional bull riding, featuring the world's top riders and the fiercest bucking bulls. The championship returned to Fort Worth, Texas in 2023 for six of intense competition.
The bull riding mega event began in 1994 and has evolved over the years, gaining popularity among bull riding fans worldwide. Over the years, legends like Ty Murray, Justin McBride, Silvano Alves, and Adriano Moraes have claimed the coveted PBR World Champion title.
As the 2023 PBR World Finals are in full gear, anticipation about which riders will come out on top is mounting. Rider Kaique Pacheco, the 2021 winner Jose Vitor Leme, and Dalton Kasel are top contenders for this season's competition.
When Is The PBR World Finals 2023?
The 2023 PBR World Finals championship is set to take place from 12th May to 21st May of 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas.
The championship, inaugurated on May 12, will take place over two weekends, with events scheduled on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
All the World Finals events will occur at the Dickies Arena, a 14,000-seat multipurpose indoor stadium located in Fort Worth.
To secure your spot in the priority line for the event, you need to place a refundable $25 deposit per seat by October 16, 2022, at 5:00 pm ET. After the deposit window closes, the PBR will notify you of the date you can select your seats via email on October 24, 2022.

At the PBR World Finals, riders compete in a series of rounds, with the top riders advancing to the championship round that will conclude the tournament on May 21.
The rider with the highest combined score at the end of the championship round is crowned the PBR World Champion of 2023. During each round, riders are matched with a bull, and they must ride that bull for 8 seconds.
The rider’s performance is judged based on their technique and balance, as well as the bull’s bucking ability. The highest possible score is 100 points.
This year's contest has been a captivating affair due to its dynamic nature, with a staggering seven shifts in the top spot, and the pace of the action has not slowed down even slightly.
The 2020 and 2021 PBR world champion Jose Vitor Leme is among the top rider to win the competition. The Brazilian cowboy is also the 2022 PBR U.S. Team Series MVP.
If Leme manage to grab a win in the championship round, he would be just the second person to be crowned champion three times, a rare feat only achieved by another Brazilian, Silvano Alves.
Unfortunately, the defending champion, Daylon Swearingen, could not make it to the 2023 showdown.

The action kicked off on Friday, May 12th at 7:30 pm ET on CBSSN, with the first live pre-show broadcast followed by the championship match at 9 pm.
The following Saturday, May 13th, the PBR championship continued as Day 2 began with another preshow and live broadcast on CBSSN at 9 pm ET.
On Sunday, May 14th, the PBR championship was aired on CBS at 1-2 pm ET in a taped broadcast, allowing fans to catch up on the previous weekend's action.
Later that day, the live coverage of the championship continues on CBSSN at 3-5:30 pm ET, allowing fans to watch the top riders compete in real-time.
The following weekend, the PBR championship picks up where it left off, with another set of events scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
On Friday, May 19th, the live broadcast of the championship will be back on CBSSN at 9 pm ET. Saturday, May 20th, will see another live broadcast of the PBR championship on CBSSN at 9 pm ET, featuring some of the world's best bull riders.
On Sunday, May 21st, CBS will air a taped broadcast of the PBR championship at 12-1 pm ET, followed by another live broadcast on CBSSN from 3-5:30 pm ET.
Fans can tune in throughout the two weekends to grab all the games and see which rider will be crowned the 2023 PBR World Champion.
