Rose Zhang parents are Haibin Zhang and Li Cai from California. Rose is an amateur golfer for Stanford University born on 24 May 2003.
The 19-year-old prospect has been golfing since she was nine under the guidance of her father Haibin who introduced his daughter to golf, with him taking on the role of her part-time caddie.
The star amateur has been firing all the cylinders with Haibin on her bag. With him as her caddie, Zhang went on to win the 2023 Augusta National Women's Amateur golf tournament adding another noteworthy accomplishment to her trophy cabinet.
The 5-foot-6 athlete joined Stanford University in November 2020 and has been competing in NCAA tournaments for the college team.

Haibin inspired her to play golf when she was nine years old. Upon receiving a set of golf clubs from a friend, he exposed Rose to the sport from a young age.

Haibin Zhang is a Senior Vice President of Quantitative Research Analyst at PIMCO. He has been a part of the investment management firm since November 2010.
Haibin first came as a VP of Asset Analyst, and after working for three years, he was promoted to the SVP in January 2014.
Before his stint at PIMCO, Mr. Zhang was an assistant VP at Barclays Capital for two years. He also joined Lehman Brothers as an associate in July 2007.
Moreover, Haibin also worked as a Financial Software Developer at Bloomberg for a year.
After graduating from Pujiang Middle School, he attended the University of Science and Technology of China in 1994 and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Physics in 1999.

Bill is a professional executive consultant, currently working as a Mortgage Banker at Trusted Mortgage Capital. He freshly joined the entity in February 2023.
Before that, Bill Sida toiled as a business consultant at Aurelia & B Corp for over five years. Similarly, he also spent a year at Network Capital, followed by a year-and-a-half stint at New American Funding as a Senior Loan Consultant.
Besides earning a bachelor's degree in Marketing from California State University, Bill has also obtained a Real Estate Broker and insurance consultant license, demonstrating his versatility and competence across multiple fields.
As a result of which, he landed a job at McSen Realty Corporation as a Land Development Manager in May 2018.

Rose Zhang Childhood
Zhang's love for golf was sown in her childhood manifesting her natural inclination and fervor for the sport at nine.
At 13, Rose won her first career trophy as an amateur in the 2016 AJGA - CJGT at Yorba Linda. Zhang continued to soar to greater heights in the following years, culminating in triumphant victories at the Junior PGA Championship and Junior America's Cup in 2017.
Buoyed by her impressive skills and grit at 16, she partook in US Women's Open in May 2019. She attended Pacific Academy in Irvine, California, where she demonstrated her talent and dedication to the game.
Throughout high school, she won numerous awards, including the McCormack Medal, and was also named the Rolex Junior Player of the Year twice,
Zhang joined Lydia Ko and Leona Maguire as the only golfers to receive the McCormack Medal multiple times. Additionally, Zhang represented Team USA in the Junior Solheim Cup and Pan-American Games in 2019.
She finished third in the 2021 Augusta National Women's Amateur and made the cut for four LPGA major championships in 2021.
Her impressive golfing resume also includes winning the 2020 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship, making her the eighth player in history to win both the U.S. Junior and U.S. Amateur titles.
