Marco Simone Golf and Country Club is the Ryder Cup 2023 venue. The golf course is located in Guidonia, Rome, Italy. It was built in 1989.
The golf course was designed by architects Jim Fazio and David Mezzacane. The name of the golf was inspired by the castle of Marco Simone. The course also goes by the name Gol Marco Simone and is owned by Laura Biagiotti and Giannu Cigna.
The bidding process for this year's Ryder Cup only had four bids and Rome was announced as the host ahead of Germany, Spain, and Austria.
