He is an American Football Quarterback who currently is playing for the NFL team Houston Texans. He was recently announced as one of the captains for Texans.

Before being drafted into the NFL he played for Ohio State in college football, where he managed to make lots of records, being the first person to throw for 6 touchdowns 3 times and having the most passing yards in a single game of 573.  Also, he became Ohio State's highest-drafted QB in history. 

Houston Texans QB C.J. Stroud will play as a captain when he makes his NFL debut during the regular season. The No. 2 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft is one of four players named as the Texans' captains for the 2023 seasons.

His teammates chose him as the team's captain for the new 2023 season.

In the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, the Texans selected him from Stanford, where he played college football. He made his NFL debut against the Browns.

In his first season as a starter in his school days, Mills broke the previous rookie passing yardage mark for Houston. He made passes of 6,290 yards and sixty-six touchdowns throughout the course of his career.

He was chosen for the 2017 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, however, he was injured and was unable to play. Mills was the top quarterback in his class and a five-star prospect.

It was 26 May 2021 he signed with the Texans on a 4-year deal. In his second season, he was the Starting QB for Houston Texans after the first-choice QBs left the team.

Mills' passer rating with Houston Texans starting RB Dameon Pierce is around seventy-eight with 2,319 yards, eleven touchdowns, and twelve interceptions in the eleventh match to date.

Currently, New York Giants Quarterback Tyrod Taylor also played for the Houston Texans in the 2021 season reuniting with his former coach David Culley.

Back in the day, he was a Virginia Tech college football player, helping the team win the 2009 Orange Bowl in his second year and the 2011 Orange Bowl as a senior.

In 2015, the Buffalo Bills signed free agent quarterback Taylor, who took over as the team's starting quarterback that season and made the Pro Bowl.

In March 2018, he joined the Cleveland Browns, and the Bills selected Josh Allen to take his place. Taylor later won the starting job with the Browns, Los Angeles Chargers, and ultimately the Houston Texans; however, he missed all three games due to injuries and was in each case replaced by a rookie Baker Mayfield in the Browns, Justin Herbert in the Chargers, and Davis Mills in the Texans.

He was a QB for the Houston Texans and was selected by the Texans in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He remained with the team for four years.

He now ply his trade for the Cleveland Browns after leaving the Texans in 2022 signing 5 year long deal with the Browns.

He played for Clemson in college, where he guided them to a title in 2016. However, In 2018 and 2019, he led the Texans to back-to-back division victories, and in 2020, he finished first in the league in passing yards.

He had serious legal problems in 2021, including numerous claims of sexual misbehavior. As a result, he missed several games throughout the season and he left the team after the 2021 season.

A.J. McCarron served as the Houston Texans' backup quarterback in the NFL. In March 2019, he joined the Houston Texans as a free agent.

He enjoyed a fruitful career and numerous national championships while playing college football for the University of Alabama. His accomplishments in college helped him become known as a quarterback prospect for the NFL.

He played several seasons as a backup quarterback with the Cincinnati Bengals to start his NFL career. Before joining the Texans, he also played for the Oakland Raiders for a short time.

He was a deputy QB for the starter Deshaun Watson during his tenure with the Texans. His primary responsibility was to offer depth at quarterback and be prepared to fill in if necessary. 

During the regular season, McCarron played only a small amount of time as quarterback. He mostly played in friendly games and was available as a backup in case the starter was out.

He currently plays for the XFL team St. Louis Battlehawk, signing with them in November 2022.

Tom was picked in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans. He was selected as a progressive quarterback prospect.

He played his college football for Rutgers before moving to Pittsburgh. Prior to being drafted into the NFL, he had a brilliant college career.

He spent most of his career with the Texans as a backup quarterback. He did get the chance to start games, though, when the team's quarterback was out injured or was out of form. During his time with the Houston Texans, he started a total of nine games. Despite having a good arm, he had uneven starting results. 

Tom Savage was traded to the New Orleans Saints in 2018 after playing for the Texans for a number of seasons. Before quitting professional football, he later spent time with other NFL teams, including the Detroit Lions and Cincinnati Bengals.

He was the Texans' QB during the 2016 season. After starting his career as a deputy with the Broncos, he signed a 4-year, with the Texans in March 2016. 

His college football was at Arizona State and from there he was chosen by the Broncos in 2nd round of the NFL draft in 2012. After 3 seasons with the Broncos, he joined the Houston Texans.

His stint with the Texans fell short of expectations, and in the 2017 offseason, he was traded to the Cleveland Browns. Osweiler battled with uneven play during his lone season with the Texans in 2016, which resulted in a 9-7 record. In the end, Osweiler was benched late in the season in favor of Tom Savage and did not get to play in the Texans' playoff games.

Brock Osweiler played NFL for 7 seasons from 2012 to 2018.

T. J. Yates made a name for himself during his tenure with the Houston Texans as a backup quarterback and sometimes as a starting quarterback.

In the fifth round of the 2011 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans selected him. He was actually signed to serve as Matt Schaub's deputy. When starter Matt Schaub and back-up Matt Leinart both sustained injuries during Yates' first season in 2011, he was forced into action.

He started a number of games, and one of his most noteworthy performances came in the 2011 postseason when he guided the Texans to their first-ever playoff victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

However, he departed the Texans to play for various NFL teams, such as the Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons. But in 2015, he went back to play for the Texans for a second time. In his second spell with the Texans, which lasted from 2015 to 2017, T.J. Yates mostly filled the backup position. Due to injuries to the starting quarterbacks at this time, he got to start a few games.

He played in the NFL for 8 seasons, and in 2018 he announced his retirement from the football.

Ryan Fitzpatrick served as the Houston Texans' quarterback in the 2014 NFL season. He was signed as an experienced QB to fight for the starting position. 

He signed a two-year contract with the Texans and became their player in March 2014. He was selected as the team's starting quarterback for the 2014 campaign, he managed 12 starting appearances.

Fitzpatrick's performance as the starting quarterback was very inconsistent. During the 2014 season, he passed for 2,483 yards, seventeen touchdowns, and eight interceptions. That year, the team's final record was 9-7. Then, late in the 2014 campaign, he sustained a season-ending injury, forcing Ryan Mallett, the backup quarterback, to take over.

His career with the Texans ended after the 2014 campaign. The team did not re-sign him, and he later played for the New York Jets.

He had a successful season with the Houston Texans as a quarterback in his 6-year long spell with the team after joining from the Atlanta Falcons in 2007.

In the 2007 season, Schaub was named starting QB for Houston Texans, he then went on to make that position his own. During his time with them, he soon made a name for himself as one of the league's top quarterbacks.

He was chosen for the Pro Bowl in 2009 after leading the NFL in passing yards. He had a reputation for being precise and for being able to direct the Texans' offense. The Texans made their first-ever postseason appearances under Schaub's captaincy.

During the 2011 season, they won the first playoff game in the history of the team. It wasn't easy for Schaub to succeed in his time with the Texans.

Eventually, after the 2013 season, he left the team for Oakland Raiders in 2014.
