Tim Hardaway is a former basketball player. He has spent fourteen years playing for the National Basketball Association. 

Tim was born on September 1, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois. He played college basketball for the UTEP Miners and was named MVP of El Paso's Sun Bowl Invitational Tournaments. 

He created his crossover dribble technique, known as the UTEP two-step, while he was a member of the Miners. 

Hardaway began his professional basketball career with Golden State Warriors in 1989. Hardaway leads Run TMC's fast break as part of the Warriors' attack, showing off his excellent passing and one-on-one talents.

He played seven years for Warrior and scored a career-high point in the 1991–92 season. After Warrior, he was selected to play for Miami Heat. 

He was voted for the NBA Most Valuable Player Award during his play with Miami. He started in the 28 games to finish the season. 

Hardaway was also chosen to play in the 1998 NBA All-Star Game. He was the 1989 WAC Player of the year. 

The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced that Tim would be among its thirteen newest members. He also played for the NBA Generations team in the 2009 NBA Asia Challenge. 

He ended his basketball career playing with Indiana Pacers. Hardaway participated in five NBA All-Star Games at the end of his career. Tim also coached for Detroit Pistons for four years, during 2014-2018.

Penny Hardaway is not related to Tim Hardaway; they only share similar surnames. Penny is a coach at Memphis Tigers Basketball team.

Penny was born to his parents Fae Hardaway and Eddie Golden, in Memphis, Tennesse, US. He has been a basketball coach for the Tigers men's basketball team since 2018.

He is a former professional basketball player who has spent 14 seasons in the NBA.

He has two sons, Jayden and Ashton, and two daughters LaTanfernee and Layla. Both his sons have followed in his footstep to become well-known basketball players.
