Tyler Herro parents Chris and Jen Herro were both active athletes in college. Chris and Herro have been married for 23 years.

They tied the knot in 1999 after dating for several years since they first met each other in college. Both were dynamic athletes in the past, and the couple completed their 23rd-anniversary last year in 2022.

Chris and Jennnifer are blessed with three kids, all sons, and they are professional basketball players. Tyler is the oldest of three siblings. The remaining two are Myles and Austin.

Herro's father has been the biggest influence in his life and career. Not only did Chris teach him how to play, but he also gave him the necessary insight into game attitude and frame of mind.

In order for his kid to play basketball at a top level, Chris enabled him to have some amount of audacity. He thinks that without it, nobody could succeed on the floor.

Despite having some love-hate relationship and a few fallouts between the two, Tyler has nothing but love and respect for his dad. They still have that deep bond, and Chris knows how to comfort his boy.

His mother, Jen, has opened up a few times about the dad-son relationship, and she believed sometimes Chris was too hard on Tyler in terms of training during childhood.

She is always on Tyler's side, backing him up and cheering him. Jen is more of emotional support, while Chris brings a drive and passion for winning to their son.

"He's been doing it all year. If Tyler Herro doesn't exist on the Miami Heat, the Miami Heat are a .500 club. Let's be real, dude," Chris spoke to ESPN about Tyler's impact on Miami's success in the 2020-21 NBA season.

Chris Herro Is A Business Owner

Chris is presently running a local home service business Superior Disposal based in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

According to his Linkedin profile, he is the company's owner that offers home-related building facilities such as concrete contracting, landscaping, snow plowing, maintenance, and roofing.

Born on July 11, 1968, Chris graduated from a public institution, Nathan Hale High School in West Allis, Wisconsin, and later joined Florida State University. He was interested in a basketball career because of his exceptionally athletic frame from a young age.

Nevertheless, he went with the flow and rose as one of the Wisconsin region's prominent young talents in basketball. But the glory did not last long as Chris suffered a horrible career-ending injury in his ACL, which completely shattered his dream of playing in the NBA.

Even after he came back after recovering, the spark he had was long gone, and he could not compete at the top level. His passion and dedication to the game slowly faded, forcing him to retire early.

"Honestly, it took me a while to get over it," Chris said about the unexpected end to his career after the injury.

However, the child and desire inside him who wants to play never went away. Chris found another way of revitalizing his lost ambition through his sons. 

Tyler has two younger siblings, Austin and Myles, who are also playing basketball. 

They both are following Tyler's well-established foot trail to be as successful as him or even more. He may be one of many members of his household who will become a successful player. Austin and Myles dream of playing at the top level and are eyeing an NBA career.

Austin Herro Plays For Whitnall High School

Austin is a high school basketball player who makes the varsity basketball lineup at Whitnall High. 

He has all the potential to be another breakout star from the Herro family in Wisconsin to play in the NBA. Chris will be more than happy if another one of his kids joins the national league.

Many have speculated that the 6 feet 2 combo guard is a twin of the Miami Heat star Tyler. Austin shares a similar style of play and movement as his big bro. As a result, many top NCAA basketball teams are keeping tap on him.

Besides, Austin is very active on social networking platforms such as Instagram and Twitter. He has a huge fan following on Instagram, 66.3K followers with 35 posts. Similarly, on Twitter, he managed to gain 1.7K followers on his account. 

Myles Herro Plays As A Point Guard

The youngest of the family, Myles plays as a point guard for Whitnall High School in Greenfield, WI.

Similar in height to Austin, standing at 6 feet 2, Myles weighs 150 lbs and is a sophomore player. His confidence at such a young age is unmatched compared to the rest of the other players in his league.

Last year, a video of Myles playing basketball went viral on the internet, and he suddenly became a web sensation. He was in the 8th Grade but got a sick pull-up game like his older sibling.

He is slowly building his name and reputation through his game. Thus, his popularity has grown exponentially over the last year. On Instagram, his account @mylesherro has an impressive 57.9K followers.

NBA standout Tyler resides with his family in Miami, Florida.

He is a doting household person living with his stunning girlfriend, Katya Elise Henry, and their one-year-old daughter Zya Elise. Herro started seeing Henry in March 2020 avid covid lockdown, and they have been in a loving relationship.

In June 2021, the couple revealed that they were expecting their first baby, and three months later, in September, they welcomed a baby girl Zya.

On June 18, 2022, Katya announced she was pregnant for the second time, and she and her boyfriend are expecting another baby due January 2023. "Can't believe there's a boy in here," she penned the post.

The announcement came four days after the Miami Heat shooting guard posted an emotional birthday message to his soulmate, Katya. She is an Instagram model, influencer, and fitness expert and the Minneapolis native has 7.8 million followers on her Instagram @katyaelisehenry.
