USC Football Assistant Coaches are Dennis Simmons, Alex Grinch, Josh Henson, Donte Williams, Roy Manning and Brian Odom. Lincoln Riley leads the coaching staff.
The USC Trojans nearly did the unthinkable in Lincoln's first year of coaching records like win the Pac 12 and earn a college football playoff berth.
The head coach has officially announced his 2022 staff for the USC football program. This big announcement already has the Trojan football program trending back to national-level dominance as few of the staff across the country can top this.
Only one of these full-time coaches was with the program last year and that is 2021 interim head coach Donte Williams. The rest of the members whom Lincoln either brought with him or found as the best possible candidates from outside sources.
He has finalized his support staff at USC Trojans and retained only one staff member Donte Williams from the Clay Helton era.
USC Football Head Coach Lincoln Riley
Lincoln Riley was appointed as the head coach of the USC Football team on 28 November 2021.
Lincoln was the 30th head coach of the USC Trojans football team representing the University of Southern California, replacing Clay Helton.
The move was widely appreciated in Los Angeles area media with the Los Angeles Daily News calling it a walk-off home run hire for the Trojans after his 5 excellent years at Oklahoma.
Riley and the USC Trojans started the season off going win/loss (6-0) but would fall to the 20 position with win/loss (43-42) on October 15, 2022.
The Trojans won the rest of their regular season games, finishing the season ranked 4th.
In the Pac-12 Championship Game, they would lose to the Utah Utes football again (47–24) knocking them out of contention for the College Football Playoff.
Moreover, he has had a more successful football career as a head coach than any other head coach in college football history before the age of 40.
Riley has been a head coach for 6 seasons and has developed 3 of the last 6 Heisman Trophy winners which includes all quarterbacks. From coaching 3 Heisman Trophy winners to having an 84 percent winning record in 3 college football playoff appearances.
The total salary of head coach Lincoln Riley across the term of his contract is $110 million. It is likely a 10-year deal for the former Oklahoma head coach that would put his annual average salary at $11 million.
Not only that but new USC football head coach Lincoln has announced his full-time assistant coaching staff.
