Ravech, the lead play-by-play for ESPN's Major League Baseball coverage, will likely continue his position as the host for the 2023 draft. The 59-year-old sportscaster has been a part of the ESPN broadcasting unit for three decades since 1993.
Karl became the primary host of Baseball Tonight on ESPN till 2018. He also hosted a golf show in the early 2000s for the network.
Since 2006, Ravech has been providing commentary on ESPN and ABC for the Little League World Series held in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
He has also provided his insights and commentary for other sports events, such as the College World Series and college basketball games, 2K Sports video game, and even covered ESPN's KBO League in 2020.
On the other hand, Karl's studio partner Kiley McDaniel serves primarily as an MLB insider at ESPN. McDaniel began his ESPN journey in February 2020 and had been providing in-depth analysis and outlook on the channel.
Kiley worked as a writer at Baseball Prospectus in 2009 and held a position of baseball operator at the Baltimore Orioles and Pittsburgh Pirates before joining ESPN as a scouting writer in 2012.
The following year in 2013, McDaniel served as a baseball analyst and lead prospect analyst. Then from 2015 to 2017, he toiled at the Atlanta Braves as an assistant director and west coast crosschecker.
Meanwhile, Greg Amsinger will act as the host of the draft for MLB Network. He will be joined by a group of analysts, including Dan O'Dowd and Tim Corbin.
Amsinger joined the network in 2009 and is presently the host of MLB Tonight and MLB Network's Emmy award-winning studio program.

Harold Reynolds, a former Seattle Mariners second baseman, initially joined ESPN at the start of his broadcasting career. The 1987 AL Stolen base leader started working for ESPN as the main expert on Baseball Tonight in 1996.
Reynolds was part of essential baseball events like the All-Star Game and the World Series, where he shared his insights from the ESPN studio. He also commented on ESPN's College World Series and Little League World Series broadcasts.
Reynolds became a commentator for MLB.com in June 2007 and has been an analyst on MLB Network since January 2009. He regularly appears on MLB Tonight, Quick Pitch, Diamond Demo, and MLB Network's breaking news and special event coverage.
Counter to that, Chris Burke is the ESPN commentator who joined the network in 2012. Burke provides commentary and analysis for ESPN coverage of college baseball.
The 43-year-old retired MLB player had a brief stint in the Major League with the Houston Astros, Arizona Diamondbacks, and San Diego Padres.
In 2008, after being let go by the Arizona team, Burke inked a contract to play in the minor leagues for the Padres. He later moved on to join the Braves before eventually settling with the Cincinnati Reds, where he ended his professional baseball career.
Similarly, an analyst, Eduardo Perez, will join the ESPN commentator panel for the draft in 2023. Perex is a former player who spent 13 seasons in MLB, playing for eight franchises during his career.
After retiring, Pérez became a part of ESPN's Baseball Tonight coverage, starting in the 2006 postseason. He worked as an analyst for Baseball Tonight until 2011 and also provided analysis for "Béisbol Esta Noche" on ESPN Deportes.
Then Eduardo ventured into coaching roles and was appointed the Astros bench coach in 2013. However, ESPN made an announcement in February 2014 stating that Pérez had returned to the network to work as a studio and game analyst.
